"Not too tight!" Elizabeth said to her maids that are putting her wedding dress on her. Today was Elizabeth's wedding. She always imagined herself getting married to a noble, fine man, just like Will.

As the maids fixed her dress, she felt uncomfortable in it. The pins poking her once in a while. But Elizabeth felt similar inside of her, just like those uncomfortable pins. She felt like something was wrong about marrying Will. "Is he not the right man for me?" She thought. Ever since that pirate, Jack Sparrow, saved her from drowning she couldn't get her mind off him.

"Captain Jack Sparrow.." Elizabeth thought correcting his tittle and name. She remembered how he only liked to be addressed as "Captain" nothing less.

"You're all done, miss." Said one of her maids. Elizabeth looked down at her beautiful, green layered dress and smiled. "It's wonderful! Just how I imagined it." said Elizabeth happily. Her maids left her and walked outside, giving Elizabeth some time alone.

Suddenly, someone knocked on her door. "Who could it be now?" she asked herself quietly and walked towards the door. She slowly opened it, seeing it was a man hired from her father to take care of the mansion.

"Miss Swann...it seems you have a letter, along with a little package." The man handed them over to her.

Elizabeth took the package and letter. "Thank you." she said to him, looking at the letters curiously. Closing the door, Elizabeth quickly walked over to her desk. She pushed everything on there aside and put the package down on the desk. Sitting down carefully, she opened the letter, seeing beautiful script letter written down.

Elizabeth,
It has come to my notice that you and William are to be married. I'm glad that you have achieved something that you always wanted, marriage. I've sent you a package along with this letter.

She stopped reading and looked at the package on her desk. She carefully put the letter down and opened it, revealing a compass, that was worn out with colors of green and brown. Elizabeth looked down at the letter again and continued to read.

The compass isn't broken, it is unique. As it may seem broken to you, it doesn't point North. It points to what your heart desires most. If you ever feel unsure about anything, maybe me compass will help you. Hopefully are doing well, and if you may, send me wishes to Will for having such a fine woman with him.

Elizabeth finished the letter and smiled, knowing that it is from her favorite pirate. She folded the letter carefully into the envelope again and looked back to the compass. She took it in her hands and slowly opened it. The compass's needle spun for a few seconds until it stopped on a direction. Elizabeth walked outside her room, into the hallways, and outside to the streets.

The town seemed empty, probably because everyone was getting ready for her wedding in a few hours. She kept looking down at the needle until she felt her feet get wet.

She looked up from the compass, seeing that she was standing on the shore of a beach. Elizabeth looked out to the waves.

"The sea?"

She looked back down at the compass but it was still pointing towards the open sea. She felt what she desired most, it was seeing Jack again.

Elizabeth closed her eyes and let the salt filled air engulf her.

They only had very few conversations, but the talks between them were always heart to heart. A memory of her and Jack came into mind.

The memory of both of them on the HMS Dauntless went through her mind. Her mind racing with these thoughts, not able to forget this special moment between them.

"Don't get me wrong, love. I admire a person who's willing to do whatever's necessary," Jack said looking deep into her eyes, letting out a grin. He was explaining why both of them haven't told Norrington about the curse.

"You're a smart man Jack, but I don't entirely trust you." She replied, still unsure whether to trust the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. She looked at his handsome figure, his tanned skin, and thought about his beautiful eyes staring into hers.

Then he walked a little closer to her and pointed to both of them. "Peas in a pod, darling." Their eyes stared into each other. It was almost as if he was looking inside her soul. No one has ever looked at her like that, never....

With a grin on his lips, Jack turned away.

She was a little suprised and nervous at the way he was looking at her. Even though he looked at her for a few seconds, it felt much longer.

Elizabeth snapped her eyes open and looked back at the sea. The wind blew in her hair, causing a few strands to block her face.

"Peas in a pod..." she whispered to herself and closed her compass. "Jack is right.." she said slowly realizing how alike the two are.

Both of them loved freedom, and she felt trapped in society. "Once I marry Will...how am I going to be able to sail the seas?" she asked herself, thinking back to her days on the Interceptor and Dauntless. She pulled her hair behind her ear and nodded. Elizabeth knew what she had to do. She had to find Jack, and ask him if he could help her make the right decision.

She quickly ran back to town and saw a merchant ship on the dock, loading resources for trade. She held the compass tightly in her hands, not wanting to loose it, and sneaked onto the ship while no one was looking.

Elizabeth could smell the salty air of the sea and quickly went below deck. She looked around if there was anyone but thankfully no one was there. She quickly looked through the cargo until she found some clothes. She took a pair and went into another room, locking the door.

Elizabeth slipped her dress off and put on the new pair of clothes she found. She took a piece of cloth and wrapped it around her hair, tying her long blonde locks up so she looks more manly. Elizabeth left the dress and heels in a corner, she put a pair of boots on, a hat, and went above deck again.

She lowered her voice, so she sounded more man like, and went to a crew member. "Where are we sailing off too?" she asked in that voice.

The crew member replied "Haven't ye heard, lad? We are sailing into Tortuga. The captain got word that all the other ports are not taking what we be offering."

Elizabeth looked at the sailor and grinned. "Tortuga...."
