Tris' point of view

I started to head towards our apartment. I wonder why Lilly was at the chasm. After what Peter did to me there, I wouldn't go there without Tobias. I heard that Peter is a fence guard. So, at least he didn't get his dauntless leader in training job. I can barely handle Eric as a leader. If both Eric and Peter were leaders, there would be no dauntless. I know Uriah is a Dauntless leader in training. He does half leader a half trainer job. Marlene and Lynn chose to be clothing store owners. Will became a Dauntless leader in training like he wanted. Christina became a make-up store owner. So, everyone is happy with their job. I'm glad I chose to be with Tobias as an initiate instructor. I also chose to work in the control room just because.

I put the key in the lock and turn it. I open the door and crash onto the couch. I don't want to be without Tobias. I go over to the kitchen and make a grilled cheese sandwich. I eat it while I watch tv. I guess the Erudite are accusing Abnegation of stealing food. That makes me mad. Abnegation gives the food to the factionless. Erudite doesn't know what they're talking about. The worse part is that Caleb, my brother, transfered to Erudite. He betrayed our parents. It makes me furious.

I just lay there and think about all I've done to betray my parents. Then, I hear a knock on the door. I rush toward the door and open it. I see Christina in a very pretty dress.

"Don't tell me you forgot about Zeke's party," She tells me. Oh no! I forgot all about it. I was so busy with Lilly I guess it just slipped my mind.

"No, I didn't," I tell her.

She gives me a look like 'really?'

"Let's go! Zeke is waiting for us," She squeals.

She starts to run down the hall, and I follow her. She can run really fast. As I'm running, I hit someone. Eric.

"Hey, watch where you're going," He yells at me.

By then, I'm gone. No one wants to be on Eric's bad side. I continue to run until I get to Lilly's apartment. I knock on the door. Uriah opens it.

"Hey, is Four here," I ask.

"Yeah," he replies. He goes back inside and comes back with Four.

"Do you remember Zeke's party," I ask.

"Nope," He says.

"I'm going to go ahead," Uriah says and walks away.

"Should we invite Lilly," I ask.

"Sure," he says.

I walk into Lilly's apartment and toward her room. I see her sitting up in her bed, watching tv.

"Hey, do you feel like going to Zeke's party," I ask.

"Sure, I'll go," She says. With that, she gets up and walks out of the door. We head to Zeke's and open the door to his place. As soon as we walk in, I know that this will be interesting.
