A Divergent Dream Come True

Chapter 11

Lilly's point of view

I wake to the sound of my alarm clock. I remember the events of last night. Uriah likes me. He likes me.

I get out of bed and put on a black shirt with black jeans. I put on the necklace I bought at a store. It has a dauntless symbol on the front and says "Be brave" on the back. I put on my black combat boots. I run to the kitchen and grab some cake. Zeke still owes me cake. I eat it quickly and run outside my appartment and head towards the tattoo parlor. Tori is already there, so I practice on a dummy. I paint a hawk on one side and a snake on the other. I look at them and I have to say, they look good. I guess I'm a decent artist. I look at the door when I hear someone come in. It's Tris.

"Hey," I say.

"Hey, can I get a tattoo that looks like this," She asks as she hands me a piece of paper. I look at it and see she wants a tattoo that says "4+6" on her wrist. Awww! That's so cute and romantic.

"Sure Tris," I reply. I start on her tattoo. I write it how Tris wanted it. I get done within 20 minutes.

"There you go," I tell Tris.

"Oh, I love it! Thanks Lilly," She says with excitement.

"You're welcome, I'll see you around," I call to her as she runs out the door.

"Okay, see you later," She yells back. I walk back to where I was and go back to the dummy. I start on some cursive writting. I write,"Dauntless forever" I smile once I'm done.

"Lilly," Tori asks.

"Yeah," I say.

"Can you do a Dauntless symbol on this guy," She asks.

I peek out behind the dummy. I see the guy. Wait, I know him. I forget his name. He was an initiate with Tris.

"Sure, Tori," I reply. I go towards the man and he sits down to a chair next to me.

"Where would you like it," I ask the man.

"On the back of my right shoulder," He replies. Wait a minute...It's Peter.

"Okay," I say. I get started on it. As I'm on the last touch ups he says something.

"What's your name? I've never seen you around here," He asks.

"Lilly, and I've never seen you but I know you," I say with no emotion.

"Okay, so who am I," Peter asks.

"You're Peter the psycho who stabbed Edward in the eye and hung Tris over the chasm," I exclaim.

He looks at me with a scowl. We're both silent as I finish his tattoo.

"Okay, it's done," I say. He doesn't say anything and walks out of the parlor. Tori finishes up with another guy. I see a tattoo curling around his back. Four! I walk over to him.

"Hey," I say.

"Hey, " He says.

"What's your new tattoo of," I ask.

"How about I show you," He suggests.

He shows me his wrist with the "4+6" I wrote on Tris' wrist. My mouth drops open. Tris and Four both have the same tattoo! It's soo cute.

"Hope Tris likes it," He says.

"She'll love it," I say.

"Thanks Lilly," He says. He gets up and heads out the door. I smile. Tris is going to love it, and Four will love Tris' tattoo.

I look at the clock. It's 10:46. I guess my shift is over.

"Tori, I'm going home. see you tomorrow," I yell. She pops out her head around the door.

"Okay, bye," She says. I get up and go back toward my appartment. I go inside and see...
