Chapter 14

Tris's point of view

I wake up to Tobias's arms around me. I try to slip out of his hold, but he wakes up before I try.

"Good morning," Tobias says.

"Good morning, did you sleep good," I ask.

"I always sleep good when you're with me," He says.

I get out of bed. I walk to the living room when I hear a knock at the door. I go towards the door and open it. Uriah is at the doorway.

"Hey, I was going to tell you that Zeke is having a party tonight. You can come if you want to," He's says.

"Sure, we'll be there," I reply.

"Okay, see you there," He says and leaves. I close the door and turn towards Tobias.

"Who was it," He asks.

"Uriah, he wanted to tell us that Zeke is having a party tonight," I tell him.

"Do you want to go," He asks.

"Sure, I better go tell Christina," I tell him.

"Okay, I'll see you later," He says.

"Okay," I say. I kiss him goodbye and leave. I go out the door and run towards Christina's apartment. I knock on the door and see Christina open it.

"Hey, Zeke's having a party. Want to go," I tell her.

"Why not!?! But...we need to go shopping," She says, excited.

"Ugh, Christina, do we have to," I whine.

"Yes," She says.

"Fine," I say, giving in.

As soon as I say that, she grabs my arm and we head towards the pit. We go into a shop with lots of dresses. Christina finds a dress for herself. It's a black strapless dress with sparkles on it that goes to her knees It looks cute on her. Christina hands me a dress, so I try it on. Like hers, it's black. But, it has ruffles and

it has straps. I look okay in it. Christina smiles as soon as I show her.

"Wow. I like it, Tris," She says.

"Thanks," I reply.

I take off the dress and put on my casual clothes. We pay for the dresses and go to a shoe store. Christina takes me towards the heels area and we see Lilly and another girl with her. Lilly sees us and walks towards us.

"Hey, are you going to Zeke's party," Lilly asks.

"Yeah, who's your friend," I ask.

"Oh, this is Rebecca. She came over to visit me," She answers. I look over to Rebecca and she seems shocked. I wonder why.

"Rebecca, this is Tris and Christina," Lilly tells Rebecca. I wave to Rebecca and her eyes light up. I guess some one is a fan of me. Okay...

"So, do you want to come over to my apartment," Christina asks.

"Sure," Both Lilly and Rebecca say at the same time. We head out the store and go back to Christina's apartment. Christina does everyone's makeup. She's good at it, very good at it. After Christina is done with our make up, we head towards Zeke's. Christina knocks on the door and we wait.
