chapter xiv.

     "Kristen, Kristen, Kristen, KRISTEN!"

"What?" I groan as I'm rudely woken up. I look up and over and see both Emily and Amber looking extremely stressed and worried. I instantly sit up and face them. "What happened?"

"It's Dean." Amber says. My heart rate begins to pick up, I start freaking out, and I flippity flip out of my bed real quick.

"Is he okay? What Happened?!" I exclaim.

"He, Sam and their father got into a car accident and Dean and John are in the hospital." Emily informs me.

My head begins spinning, "Where?" I ask.

    "I don't know—" I cut Amber off.

"I think I remember where Dean said he was headed. Let's go, we're renting a car and we're going." I demand and drag them outside. We find a car rental place, we grab a nice car and head off. Amber drives because she doesn't trust that I won't rage and kill us all.

I sit in the passenger seat just staring out the window, thinking about what I'm walking in to. I'm hoping it's just some minor injuries, and Dean will be fine. It takes a few hours, but we finally, finally are there.

"Hi, how are you?" The lady at the desk asks.

"Hey, um, is Dean Winchester here?" I ask.

"Let me check." She looks at her computer, "Yes, who are you?"

    "I'm his wife." I lie.

"Okay, he is in room 85." With that I take off through the halls, accidentally bumping into someone on the way.

"Oh I'm so sorry-" I cut myself off when I see who it is.

     "John?" I say.

"Yeah, we met before. You are?" He asks.

"Kristen, Dean' girlfriend." I tell him, he reaches his hand out to shake my hand, I reject his hand shake.

"Look, I know we just met, but, Dean told me all about his childhood. I'm a hunter as well, I was born into this life, but my parents, my father, let me have a child moments. He let me play with toys, go have slumber parties, go to school, have fun. Be a child. He didn't get me into hunting till I was around 15, I wanted to, I wasn't forced to. Not like you forced him and Sam. You treated Dean so shittily, nothing he did was ever good enough for you. Then you tell your other son to leave and never come back? You're an awful father, I would be sorry, but I can't be." I almost yell.

He nods his head at me, "I know." He says. He stares at the ground, "I don't know if I'll ever be able to apologize to him for it."

"Where is he, anyways?" I ask.

"In his room, he isn't looking too good." He sighs.

I swallow hard, "Thanks." I mutter before pushing last him and going into Deans room.

"Oh god." I mumble when I see him, attached to all those wires. Looking deathly awful. I pull a chair up next to him, grip one of his cold and and hold my tears in. "Oh God Dean."

I sit there for a while, Sam comes in soon after me.

     "Hey." He says.

"Hey." I reply, not taking my eyes off Dean.
