Chapter 16

Ah, crap! What if he saw the kiss? Is he mad? Will he hate me for the dirty rotten cheater I am? I better play it safe.

"Hi, daddy!" I said cheerfully and gave him a hug with a peck on his cheek. "Nice weather today, but it is getting late! I'm going to go to bed!" I declared happily and started walking towards the stairs but he blocked the way.

"Not so fast, young lady." He said grumpily. "Don't think that you can go around kissing boys like that! You are dating Bunnymund, last I heard." He said with his arms crossed against his chest. You know like in cartoons when the tall bad guy looms over the small hero? That was this situation except the looming figure was the 'good guy.' I sighed and looked for any route of escape.

Nothing.

Well, I'm screwed.

Better just Wing it.

"It's complicated, you wouldn't understand." I said and tried to push past him, but he was like a brick wall.

"Try me." He said. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.

"Alright, fine. I...I want to be with Jack, not Bunny. I tried to break up with Bunny, but things happened. And, Jack loves me! And we could be happy! And it's not the first time we've kissed, dad! I just... I need time." I sighed. He gave me an angry expression.

"No, Elsa! You can't do this! It is not right! You can't cheat on Bunny and you can't keep leading Jack on!" He shouted. I balled my fists at my sides.

"I am NOT leading him on! I like him back and want to be with him!" I shouted back.

"This is not some game, young lady! This is not right! You can't do this to those boys!" He said firmly. My flustered mom ran into the room.

"What is with all the yelling?" She asked. My dad faced her.

"Our daughter seems to think it is okay to cheat on her boyfriend!" He said angrily.

"That's not true!" I defended myself but it was no use, for my mother was already red with rage.

"Elsa Arrendelle Snow!" She yelled. "Young lady you are in so much trouble! You are going to go up to your room and stay there for the rest of the weekend and after school! When I get up there we are going to have a serious conversation about all of this!" She declared and pointed angrily at the stairs, her intense gaze never leaving my eyes. I rushed up the stairs and slammed the door behind me. I let out a frustrated scream and kicked my nightstand. I instantly regretted it as pain exploded in my big toe. I clutched my foot and fell onto the flood.

"Freaking crap! For the love of waffles, why does my fire trucking life have to be so frickin frackin hard!" I screamed angrily, not daring to swear in fear of more trouble. Once the pain in my foot subsided, I walked over to the window and pushed it open. I closed my eyes and felt the cool night breeze wrap around my body. I pulled on a sweater over my tank top and climbed out of the window. I jumped onto the tree and sat on a tree branch. I looked across the street and saw Jack was staring at me from his window. When he saw me looking, he smiled and waved. I shook my head, signaling I wasn't okay. He frowned and opened the window.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"My dad saw us kiss and now I'm in big trouble." I said.

"Gee, I'm sorry, Elsa. I didn't want you to get in trouble." He said. I gave him a weak smile.

"It's not entirely your fault, I played a part in the little affair as well." I admitted and he laughed.

"I guess we're both guilty, then!" He laughed and I joined him.

"I better get going. Good night, Jack," I said and climbed back in my window.

"Night, Elsa!" He called and we closed our windows in synch.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been updating! But I've had a lot of family stuff going on! Not to mention I lost my phone so I have to use my iPod and I'm not used to the keyboard on this thing. :(

But whatever.

Sorry the chapter was short, but I just threw this together. There was going to be more but I'm very tired and am hoping to go to bed before midnight and its 12 right now, so...
