Unforgettable

Sisters of quiet mercy.

It was late at night, Veronica and I had to go and met Kevin Keller at the tunnel that led into the building of the sisters of quiet mercy, where Cheryl was. I was sitting in the lobby of the Pembroke, I heard footsteps and I looked up and saw Veronica walking towards me in all black. 'Sorry i took so long, i had to wait until my parents did bed check.' She said. 'All good but we have to get going. Kevin will be waiting.' I Whispered.i picked up my bag and we walked out of the building and we drove to the border of Foxwood forest. Then we ran to where Kevin told us to meet him. Kevin gave us instructions on how to get into the building. 'Ok, if we aren't out in 50 minuets, call your dad.' Veronica instructed Kevin. He nodded and I dropped my bag and pulled out a crowbar and i broke the lock.

We entered the tunnel and we walked for a bit, then we had to climb down a ladder. We walked then we stopped. 'When we get into the main building what do we do?' Veronica asked.

'We search each and every damn room until we find her.' I replied, as the words came out I felt a surge of power. Veronica nodded and we ran to the door that was the entrance to the building. When it was clear, we entered the hallway and we walked looking in every room. 'Let's split up, we will cover twice the ground.' I said quietly. She nodded. 'Ok but be careful.' I nodded and I walked down the

hallway. I heard. Noise. Calling Cheryl's name I looked around and found Where the noise was coming from. I practically broke the door open. 'Cheryl, are you in here?' I asked 'Toni?' I heard Cheryl's voice. 'We came to rescue you.' I called out to her. 'You did?' I looked at her and nodded. She got up and walked over to me. I hugged her. We pulled apart and got lost in each others eyes. I pulled her in and Kissed her we pulled away for a second Then smiled and pulled her back in. I didn't care that other people were watching, all I cared about was her. 'Toni, Cheryl we have to go there are a bunch of nuns coming.' 

We darted out of the room and we ran back from where we came from, but we were cut off by the nuns so we turned around and ran back. We saw another entrance to the tunnel so we ran down. We rushed down some steps and we found the way we came. And in all of this, Cheryl was holding my hand. I know i should hav been worried, but I couldn't help but be happy. We ran to where Kevin was and be slammed the tunnel door shut. And I Blocked the door with my crowbar. Cheryl was waiting with Kevin an Veronica she held out her hand and waited until i caught up. Then she grabbed my hand. We ran to the car and Kevin ran to his, then we drove back to Veronica's. We walked in and we thanked Veronica. Then we went outside. 'I'm sorry if you don't like motorcycles, but it will have to do for a while.' I told her softly. 'Are you kidding? I've always wanted to ride one.' She said excitedly but she still looked shaken up after what happened to her.

'I promise i wont let anything or anyone ever hurt you again.' I told her. 'But you look cold, have my jacket.' I continued.

"First off, that's a serpent jacket and I'm not a serpent. Second what about you?" She asked I giggled. "Cherry I have a jumper tied around my waist, remember?" She laughed. God I love it when she laughs. "Well if you insist." She jokingly scoffed.

She put the jacket on and we jumped onto the motorcycle and we drove away.

We arrived at my trailer and we walked in. It was quiet so I put on music. And Cheryl smiled. "I'm bored, wanna make a cake? Or something like that." She said. I tried not to laugh but I couldn't help it and I erupted Into laughter. As I was laughing I fell off the chair I was sitting on. Then she laughed, but she still looked a bit upset.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her softly. "What if my mother finds out that I got out and that you helped me?" She sighed.

"I told you that I would protect you. Even if that means that if cops come I will throw you into my closet." I tried to lighten the mood. She smiled slightly. "We should get some sleep. We have school tomorrow." I told her. "I can promise you that I'm not going to school wearing clothes like this." I smiled because she was getting back to her normal self. "You can borrow some of my clothes. We'll talk about it in the morning. And you can borrow some pyjamas." I said. "Thanks but can I have a shower first?" She asked quietly. "Of course you can. I'll show you where the bathroom is." I smiled at her. "This might be awkward but can be in the bathroom with me? Crap that sounds so wrong. I mean.." I cut her off. "It's fine I know what you mean, and of course I will Cherry." I used her nickname to make her feel better. "Thanks, cha-cha." I remember the first time she called me that. We were at a drag race and I usually do the flag. But she got it and was walking up to the starting point. I walked up to her and told her that I usually do the honours. But she said, "Not today cha-cha, I was born for this moment." I rolled my eyes and walked away. Anyway back to the present. "Come on we have to hurry or I will pass out on the bathroom floor." I showed her to the bathroom and I looked away as she got out of her clothes.

Then I heard the curtain open then close. "Can I open my eyes now?" I asked. "Well someone is a little impatient. And yes you can look now. I scoffed and opened my eyes but I still wanted to look the other way. She was in the shower for a while then she got out. She got dressed and then we headed off to bed.we were in bed looking into each others eyes. "About the kiss, What does it mean?" She asked "It means this." I moved towards her and kissed her with all the love And passion I could. She smiled and kissed back. "It means that I love you Cherry. And I hope that you feel the same way." I told her. "Let me think about that. Hmmmmm." She joked. "Yep I definitely feel the same way." We both smiled and we closed our eyes and we fell asleep.
