I have decided to repost this part because I am now sure that it is my own. You may remember that I wasn't sure at first so I took it down to be safe. But I think it's safe to say it's mine. So here it is again :] Thank you for reading!

Bucky is coming to pick you up to go to the Stark Expo any minute now and you are so excited to go out. You had been waiting for Bucky to ask you out and he finally has.

You've heard many things from other girls, though, that have gone out with him previously. Those things included him taking a girl out and then never going out with her again. Something was always wrong with the girl or something like that. But you don't really care. You are just glad he asked you out. It seemed like you were the only girl that he hadn't ever asked.

As you're doing last-minute touch-ups to your hair, a knock sounds at your door. You can't resist the smile that comes to your face when you hear it and, before you know it, your feet are rushing you to the entrance. You come up to stand in front of it, smoothing out your dress before opening the door.

"Hey, doll," Bucky's smooth voice starts, his handsome face and perfectly-cut hair making him seem even more appealing now than ever.

"Wow, you look ritzy." Bucky's charming tone floats through the air as a smirk appears on his lips and his eyes go from your done-up hair to your shoes. You smile but furrow your brows, a little confused a this choice of words.

"Ritzy?"

"The ritzy-est," he says with some laughter in his voice.

"But I'm not wearing anything special," you protest politely.

"Honey, anything on you would look ritzy," he remarks slyly--really turning on the charm--as he turns to the side and sticks out his elbow for you link your arm with.

You send a playfully skeptical look in his direction but loop your arm through his anyway, letting a smile come through to you. You both walk out onto the small covered porch as you close the door behind you and descend the steps to the people-ridden streets of Brooklyn just outside your door.

"So before we get to the expo, I gotta pick up my buddy Steve's date. Hope that's ok," Bucky says as he stares at the street ahead of you.

"No, that's perfectly fine," you reply with a smile.

You've never met Steve, but from what you've heard, he's a scrawny little man that would break if you hugged him too hard. You always smiled at the thought of him. All the girls that had gone out with him and Bucky said he wasn't much to look at and that's pretty much all they said about him. You felt bad for him in all honesty. But you were glad to get the chance to finally meet him.

As soon as you picked up the other girl, Loretta--who was a little too clingy to Bucky for being Steve's date--you got to the expo where Bucky left you both to go find Steve.

When he returns, Bucky's strolling with an unhappy little blonde-haired man that you think lives up to his descriptions quite well. You smile to yourself when you see him walking up with Bucky, a frown on his face. The difference in size is apparent to anyone with eyes, but you are excited to get to know him yourself and see what he's really like.

"Ladies, this is Steve." Steve just gives a half smile which you notice quickly dissolves. It's obvious he's not really into it. You steal a quick glance over at Loretta to see her reaction. She rudely takes one disgusted look and then clings back to Bucky. You frown a little bit at her action but you can't say your surprised. Most girls would react that way. That's doesn't make it right, but it's probably the norm for the little guy nonetheless. You turn back to Steve, pinning a smile to your face.
