Surprise! I'm back for one more story! I want to thank you all for your support. It has helped me realize my potential and skill level as a writer, so thank you very much! I appreciate your reads, votes, and comments, and I hope you will like this story as you seem to like the others. There are plenty of parts to look forward to for this one! As of right now I have no plans to continue with any other stories in this book, but I felt this was one I should share. It has been sitting idly as a draft for a few months, now, and it has been a while since I went through it and edited. Who knows, I may not have finished editing, but I simply don't have the motivation to go through it again. :D I hope it is still enjoyable for all of you, nonetheless. I would appreciate your support on this story as well, so feel free to comment and vote. I only ask that you keep your comments clean of any foul language or taking God's name in vain. I will be able to appreciate them much more this way! :)

I did some research for this multi-part story using the Marvel Cinematic Universe website, the url to which is below. It really helped me with continuity. I was very excited at the information I was able to get from this site, and wanted to recommend it to you as well! For all you Marvel fanfiction writers, this is a great source for information when your going for the utmost level of accuracy. For all you Marvel readers, this can simply be an interesting source of Marvel intel to broaden your knowledge of this cinematic universe.

Perhaps many of you are already aware or even involved in this site, but regardless, I wanted to share it with you.

Also, on an unrelated note, any sentences between these little signs < > indicate that the sentence is said in a language other than English. The language may be identified, but sometimes you may need to rely on context or your knowledge of the MCU to know what language is being used. 😉

Now onto the story! Happy reading!

Reader's P.O.V.

I had just finished my latest mission. It was as soon as I had gotten back to my handler that he told me I had been selected for an elite death squad HYDRA was putting together. He said it would be made up of the best assassins in the history of the organization. I wasn't flattered, but I didn't tell anyone that.

The next morning, I stepped out of the jet and onto the blustery, snowy cap in Siberia in which the facility sat. This facility was especially remote and even harder to get to than the others. Once inside the facility, someone took my things, and another led me to a large room I imagined was the center of the base. That's where I first saw my team members. Some I recognized; some I had worked with in the past; some I had never seen before. It didn't matter, though, because I hated all of them.

Colonel Vesily Karpov, the man I was told would be in charge of the squad, greeted us and introduced each of us in his Russian tongue. This was simply so we would know how to address everyone; we were not the kinds of people who made friends.

I vaguely paid attention as he went down the line:

Yao Ling, Chinese, 643 kills;

Issena Fedak, Ukrainian, 589 kills;
