*Spoiler alert*
Before everyone thinks "ahw, not another bad boy story" this is NOT a bad boy story. And if it was, what's wrong with bad boy stories? I kind of like them.....
No, this is not really a bad boy story. Of course you have the bad boy, and the girl with problems and the jock who is in love with her. But here it's all just... different. The characters are so deranged and fucked up, well, pandora is, that it makes this book fun and intriguing to read. Yeah, they get together in the end, and there is a huge amount of drama. But there are so many plot twists! You only realise that her father abuses her mother about halfway through the book, and it takes a few more chaps to realise he is psychopath. Then you have the fact Pandora's father killed Phoenix' parents. And the fact Phoenix is about to die in the end. So: no this book is not cliché.
One of the biggest pro's from this book is that you get to see a lot of the psychological stuff. You understand how and why everything happens. And the mysteries in the book take some time to be solved. In general the book is built up well. The writer took her time working out each character and... ugh, writing reviews can get pretty annoying when english isn't your native language. Sooooo yeah. Read the story, tell me or even better, the writer, what you thought of it and check out the sequel to this story: deveraux. Of course also written by nfk350.
