Chapter 1 {Who's He}

Dave's P.O.V.

I woke up to the beeping of my alarm which I thought I had turned off. Anyway I sat up and turned my alarm off as I got up and got dressed for school. It had only been a week since Dirk told me that we we're demons and it was still kinda bugging me.

After I got my stuff I walked out of my room to see Dirk and his boyfriend Jake sitting on the couch. "Hey little bro heading off to school?" I sighed as I replied putting my shades on "Yeah I'll be back around six might hang out with John after school." "Ok make sure to get something to eat and be careful" he said as I nodded and walked out the door heading to school.

Once I arrived at school I started looking for John but noticed he was talking to someone I hadn't seen before. The boy was short, seemed to be pretty pale, had white fluffy hair, and his face was covered in little freckles. Maybe he's new. I thought and walked over to the two.                  "Hey John who's your friend?" I asked curiously.                                                John looked at me and smiled as the short boy crossed his arms looking slightly annoyed "His names Karkat turns out he's got some classes with us."                                                                                                                                      The boy rolled his eyes "I asked for help to find my classes not to meet your friends" I chuckled at that as John smiled signaling to me that he'd be a good target. I smiled grabbing Karkat's arm "Well I am now your personal tour guide"

I had practically dragged the boy around the school to show him around. I mean it was a good way to get out of class. I had spent pretty much the whole school day showing him around to were there was now only five minutes of school left.                                                                                  "Well thanks for the tour around I guess" Karkat mumbled grumpily as I smiled and he walked back to his locker as I went to find John.

After walking down a couple halls I found John standing by his own locker and walked over to him. "So did you really introduce me to Karkat do I could kill him" I asked as John nodded. "Well I assumed it'd be my way of thanking you for not killing me when you use to be a hunter" I laughed slightly. "Well thanks bro I should go find him before he leaves" I smiled as we said our goodbyes and I left to go find the short adorable human.

Karkat's P.O.V.

I was walking home have my first shitty day at school as I stopped by a alley hearing stuff move around. I sighed as I walked into the alley slightly and glanced around. "Is anyone there" I was about to walk away after there was no response but I heard something fall over and walked farther into the alley way. "Hel-WHAT THE FUCK" Before I could finish what I was saying someone had tackled me. I looked at him to realize it was that stupid Strider guy and he had a stupid ass smirk on his face. "Hi again Kitkat" I was about to yell at him again but before I could everything went black

Dave's P.O.V.

I smiled as I got off the small white haired boy and picked him up. Wow he's so fucking light. I sighed as my wings spread out and went on my way while holding him bridal style. "God I honestly don't wanna kill him" I mumbled to myself and shook my head. I didn't even really know him so I guess it didn't matter. It was dark out now so it was easy for me to stay hidden.

After flying for a while I stopped landing in a alley way near my house and walked the rest of the way home. I walked inside seeing Dirk watching a movie while Jake was asleep with his head on Dirks lap. "Hey bro I see you got yourself something to eat but why's he still alive?"
