Chapter 6 {Your Knight Is Here}

John's P.O.V.

I had just brought Karkat some food and am now upstairs thinking. 'Why would he think that Dave would find him. I'm Dave's best bro he'd never expect it'. I left my thoughts as the pain in my knee came back "I can't believe I was so careless" I mumbled and went to the bathroom grabbing the first aid kit. I rolled up my pantleg and saw that my knee was indeed scrapped and bleeding. I wiped it with a washcloth and then put a bandage on it. As I was rolling my pantleg down I heard a knock at my door. I stood up and put the first aid kit back up before going to the front door and answered it seeing a firmilar face. "Oh hey Rose what brings you here?" I asked as she responded saying "I heard you needed help with Math" I nodded I forgot I was looking for a tutor. We went up to my room and she began helping me with my math work.

Dave's P.O.V.

After seeing someone fly off with my Karkat I immediately had a idea of who it might be. I called up my sister Rose and explained everything to her. After telling her everything to her she pulled up in front of my house and I hopped into her car. "So you want me to tell John I'm there to tutor him so you can get your human boyfriend?" Rose asked and I nodded "Yeah pretty much I need Karkat Rose he means everything to me" Rose smiled and nodded "Ok Dave I'll help you" I smiled happy that she agreed. After a while of driving we finally showed up at Egberts house. Rose got out and knocked on the door. Once they went inside Rose texting me telling me they were upstairs so I took that as my chance. I got out of the car and snuck in right through the front door. Once I was inside I glanced around and realized that John was brought basic and put Karkat in the basement. So what did I do....I bashed that damn door down and slowly went down the stairs to see my little Kitkat.

Karkt's P.O.V.

After layed down for a little while I sighed bored out of my mind. But that didn't last long because I heard someone's upstairs. One was John's and the others I didn't recognize so I didn't even bother with yelling. If it was one of his friend it would do me no good. Anyway I have faith in Dave. I sighed and layed back down staring at the ceiling...or well floorboards. But my silence didn't last long because someone bashed the door down which made me jump. I sat up and watched the stairs as I finally saw that it was Dave. I smiled and got up as I ran over hugging him "I knew you'd come" I said happily as he patted my head. But the happiest didn't last long as I heard a voice a the top of the stairs "Well look what we have here." Me and Dave both looked up to see John standing there.
