Chapter 10: Be My Girlfriend?

Eren's been clinging close to you, more than usual. This time, he wanted to take you out on a walk... Up in the mountains, at sunset. You both had sushi for dinner, thanks to Eren's adorable begging. You and Eren were at the base of the mountain, where the wind was becoming chilly... And the cold creeping up your spine.

You shivered, and Eren noticed. He wrapped his arms around your waist... He also decided to show off his ears and tail, which was rare for him to do so. You also felt his tail wrap around you, fuzzy and warm. "Don't worry, (y/n)... I'm gonna keep you warm..."

You smiled, "Thanks Eren..."

The shadows from the forest started to come from their hiding spots... The coldness seeping through... Finally, you made it to the sightseeing spot where everyone overlooks the valley, the city, everywhere from the top. You had the direct view to the sun, setting down behind the ocean.

"It's beautiful, isn't it, (y/n)? Just like you..."

You blush to Eren's compliment, he always finds something lovely to say to you, even if you think it's not true. "Thanks for taking me, Eren... What's the occasion? Not that I hate it, but, just curious."

His amber-colored eyes shined brightly. "Well... I wanted to take you here, for the view..."

You rolled your eyes, "I know that... But why?"

His tail wrapped around you, tightening its grip. Then, he pulls you close to his body... "Well... I have something to say- no, I need to ask you something important... I mean, I've been living with you for a couple weeks, almost 3 months... and I want to ask you... will be my girlfriend, (y/n)?"

You take his hand, looking directly into his eyes, "Of course, Eren... I'll be your girlfriend..."

Eren's eyes lit up as if he lit fireworks, "(y/n), I won't let you down... because, I want to be the only one you love... I want to be your boyfriend... I guess... I'm yours..."

After exchanging kisses, you both watched the sun setting behind the ocean... where Eren held you close to his chest... his tail wrapped around you. He dedicated himself to you, and to be honest, you regretted your choices in the past... regretted denying him being your boyfriend, because he won. 

Once the sunset was over, he held you close as you went to the cabin that Eren started to rent for the night. Inside was as normal as every cabin. A fireplace to the side, a couch facing the fireplace with a small stove, sink, and counters in a different corner. There was no stairs inside or outside, which meant that the bedroom and bathroom were on the same floor.

"So... how is it so far?" Eren asks after you spent a few minutes looking around. 

You smiled at him, blushing as well, "I love it..." You say, twirling around, "I can't believe you're renting this cabin for the night..."

"Heh... glad you like it, (y/n)... You know what we're gonna do all night?" He asks, walking towards you. A slight smirk on his face, eyes were glowing embers, ears started to twitch, and his tail swayed. "Well? Do you?"

You thought for a moment, "No... I don't..."

"Take a guess."

"S'mores?" A childish answer, but you felt like you already knew the answer.

He laughs, "No, silly... I'm gonna curl up next to you, and we're just gonna snuggle for the rest of the night, (y/n). Hope you don't mind..."

"I don't mind, Eren... after all, you've been doing so many times... I don't mind that..."

"Yeah... let's not also forget that you have a habit about playing with my ears at night..."

You felt your whole face turn warm and red as he said that. For some reason, he always brought up something about your habits that you don't even know. You remember when you accidentally walked in your sleep to Eren, who was sleeping on the couch. And this... what other habits have you done without yourself noticing?

"But, I don't mind, (y/n)... it actually soothes me, knowing that someone likes me being a cat and all... but, it's weird, isn't it? A human girl with a male cat?"

You laugh it off, "It could be, but... we're together... and that's all that matters..."
