Torn - Finn Wolfhard x reader

Storm

We're walking home from the restaurant, his arm draping around my shoulders when the first rain drop falls. I look up and dark grey clouds block out all sun. Pretty soon the heavens have opened and heavy droplets of rain are dropping on our heads. Finn grabs my hand and we start to run. I hear thunder erupt in the distance.
"We'll go to mine" Finn shouts, squinting to look at me through the thick curtain of water droplets. I nod and we carry on sprinting towards his house. The rain is super heavy and lighting is flashing in the sky.

He jams the key in the lock, twists it hurriedly and pulls the door open, we run inside into shelter.
"Jesus." I sigh, moving my soaked hair out of my eyes and taking off my jacket. Finns phone rings from inside his pocket, as he answers I take off my hoodie and go upstairs to get some of Finn's clean clothes to wear. I pull on a Calpurnia hoodie and some sweatpants, ugh the hoodie smells like him, I'm definitely stealing this.

The door swings open,
"My mom and dad are stuck at work" he announces, "no ones allowed to go outside, the storms way too bad."
"Well guess we're stuck then." I say smirking at him, "do you want me to pick out a film?"
"Ok, I'll get popcorn." He walks over and kisses me on the cheek before heading back down to kitchen.

I scroll through the many films and tv shows Netflix has, I'm tempted to put on stranger things but eventually choose (your favourite film). I get a ton of blankets and pillows and put them on Finns bed, waiting for him to come back.

I notice that he's left his phone on the bed. I look down at it, tempted to see if I can find anything else about what happened with him and Millie. One little look won't hurt.....

"Ok, I've got two bowls to last us the whole-" he looks at me with his phone in my hands, "Why are you on my phone?"
I drop his phone like it's on fire, "oh, emm, I was just changing your phone wallpaper to a picture of me" I smile innocently up at him. Im such a shitty liar.
"Aww, why didn't I think of doing that?" He laughs and smiles at me "Are you ready to watch the film?"
"Yep." I say grabbing a handful of popcorn.
He plops down on the bed and wraps his arm around me, I can't help but stare at him and how perfect his face is. I'm so glad he didn't catch me checking his texts, it would've have ruined everything.
"Y/N, you're going to miss the film." He grins looking down at me, I turn away and blush. But now he's the one staring.
I place my forehead on his and stroke his cheek, "you're the one missing the film." I chuckle.
"I'd rather look at you." He pecks my lips and then rubs his nose on mine. I giggle and then rest my head on chest, nuzzling into the warmth of his body. He plays with my hair as we watch the film, this moment couldn't be anymore perfect.

~2 HOURS LATER~

The credits roll on the screen and I turn my head to look at Finn. He's fallen asleep. I shift my body so my head is next to his. I play with his fluffy curls and his eyes flutter open.
"Oh, the films finished." He states, his voice croaky.
"Yeah, do you want to watch something else." I sit up and ask.
He doesn't say anything he just bites his lip. He then places his hands on my waist and pulls me close to him. He starts to kiss my neck when there's a heavy knock on the front door. I pull away but he pulls me back on to the bed and kisses me again, "just ignore it." He whispers, his hot breath on my neck. We carry on but so does the knocking.
I sit up straight, breathing heavily. "Finn, it's clearly important, go and check, I'll wait here and we can finish later."
He groans but gets up and heads downstairs to put a stop to the persistent knocking. I let out a sigh as he leaves and fix my now messy hair in his mirror.
Then I hear a girls voice at the door, why would someone be outside during this storm? I stand in the doorway of Finns room so I could hear better. Finn sounds annoyed and so does this girl. I let my curiosity get the better of me and wander to the top of the stairs....
