I miss the smell of a cologne

That I have never known

The taste of a kiss

I've never felt upon my lips

I miss the smile on a face

I've never seen-but how it makes my heart race

I miss a hand

That I've never held in mine

I don't really understand it

But I'm constantly reminded

How I miss dancing with you

To a song we haven't played

How I miss falling with you

Into a love we haven't found as of today

How I miss holding the pieces

Of a heart I haven't seen break

How I miss helping you fix it

Put the pieces back in place

How I miss walking with you

Through a garden we've yet to create

How I miss being the one you come back to

And a home we've yet to make.
