Chapter 28

I call Y/N on Ki Hong's phone.

" Hey Ki Hong what's up? " Y/N asks.  

" Hey " I say. She hangs up the phone. " Come on Y/N! " I scream in angry, throwing down the phone.

" Hey that's my phone not yours " Ki Hong says.

" Sorry " I say.

Jacob and I are currently driving home, it's been a long day. I don't think it is going to be awkward anymore I hope.

" I have a question " Jacob states, as we are driving.

" That is? " I ask, turning right onto the road.

" Have you always liked Y/N? " He asks.

" What? I don't like Y/N " I say.

" I'm not stupid " he says.

" Yeah I have, but she loves you " I say.

Dylan's P.O.V.

I get an unknown call, I answer it.

" Hi is this Dylan O'Brien? " Someone asks.

" Hi Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Jacob Lofland has been in a car accident. We were told that you are Thomas's emergency contact. We wanted to inform you " she says.

" Yes ma'am thank you " I say. I end the call, and call Y/N.

" Hey Dylan what's up? " Y/N asks.

" There was a car accident you guys need to get to the hospital right now " I say almost crying.  

" Okay Dyl, we are on our way " she says.

Y/N hangs up the phone.

Y/N and Y/F/N make it to the hospital to see Ki Hong and I. They can tell that both of us have been crying.

" What exactly happened? " Y/N asks.

" Um Thomas and Jacob were driving home, and then a 18 wheeler came crashing into Thomas's car " I say. She gives Ki Hong and I a hug.

The nurse walks Y/F/N and Y/N to the rooms for Jacob and Thomas. Ki Hong and I are thinking about everything that has been happening. We are both just worried, for both of them. It scares me for what is happening. Y/F/N comes sits up us, and leans her head back against the wall.

" I know it's hard it will be fine " Ki Hong says.

" I just got your message how are they?! " Alexander says running in.

" They are both alive " Y/F/N states. Alex gives Y/F/N a kiss, and they walk off. Y/N has stepped outside of the room, with tears in her eyes. Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran is playing over the radio. Her best friend and boyfriend could have died. I go, and sit by her.

" They're going to be okay " I say. She leans onto my shoulder.

" They could have died " she says.

" I know " I say. " But they didn't " I add.

" Death Cure is being pulled back, because of their injuries " she comments.

" Yup " I say. " Why don't you go home, and get some sleep. Then come up here together " I add. 

" Yeah sure " she says, I help her up. She hugs me, Y/F/N and her head home and sleep. I go to Thomas's room, he is just laying there talking to Ki Hong.

" Did you see her? " I ask.

" What do you mean? " Thomas asks.

" Did you see Y/N when the 18 wheeler was about to hit? " I ask.

" Yeah I did. I know Jacob did to. Y/N has been that girl that I've been wanting for years. It's been 3 years since we met her, I just I just feel like something is going to happen in the future, and everything is going to slowly fall apart. I can't help to blame myself. I could have just told her, I should have just been like Y/N I like you, but I didn't. I kept it to myself. " Thomas says.

" Tom. I promise it's going to be okay " Ki Hong says.

" I hope " he says.
