I was back home, but I had no downtime! My bags were packed, and Zeus was sitting down, waiting for me. "You ready to go?" He asked, looking at me with a smile, "Yea, where are we going?" I asked, hoping he would spill the beans. " You'll see when we get there," Zeus said, walking us out of the house and to the car.
Once I got in the car, and it began to drive, I quickly fell asleep. An hour later, I woke up and looked at Zeus. "Is this a road trip?" I asked, smiling, and he nodded as he grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it. "So, where are we on our way to?" I asked, and he looked at me, "one hint." He said, and I nodded cause one was all I was going to need.
"If you get too close, you might go down a drain playing on base isn't always safe." once he said that, I smirked cause I knew exactly what he was talking about. "I know, but I'm not going to say," I said, then he looked at me and smirked. I looked out the window and just watched the scenery, and I can honestly say I missed this.
I work so much I never get to enjoy the road its always fly here fly there never sit and ride. Road trips bring families closer together while plans separate them or make them seem so far apart the god had to bring them together. I leaned my seat back and moved the shade from the sunroof and just looked up at the sky.
This is how you win my heart, but I still can't choose, and sometimes I think I should just pick my kids and me. I don't want to be anyone's prize I want to be there... I don't know, but this is just so hard. So for the moment, I'm just going to enjoy this ride and let life go on without me overthinking.
