You curled up on your couch, wearing leggings and a hoodie, and your hair was in a horrible messy bun, as you waited for Clint to arrive. You had a box of pizza laid out on the coffee table, along with a bottle of root beer. Clint would be at your place any second for your usual movie night date. You laughed when he told you to be ready at 7, because he'd be there at 7:15. You looked at the clock, 7:14, you shifted on your couch, knowing that Clint would be there any minute. A knock sounded at your door, and you jumped up. Practically running to the door, you slowly open it, only to find, Clint, standing outside of it, holding a dozen roses, and wearing a dark purple button up, and grey dress pants.

"What's this?" You gesture to all of him.

Clint smirked, "I told you to be ready by 7. It's a good thing our reservation isn't till 8."

Confusion flooded your face, and you shook your head lightly, "Reservation? Clint, I thought you didn't do 'dinner dates'. You don't like going out, especially after New York, with people recognizing you."

"I thought it was time to do something different, I never get to see you all dressed up, except for at Stark's party a couple months ago, but even then, that didn't exactly go as planned." Clint smiled sadly, as you looked down. "Don't worry about the party, I had way more fun just being with you...and Bruce and Thor." The two of you laughed. "Anyway," Clint continued. "I wanted to do something special, just you and I. Now, go get ready."

You headed off to your bedroom, pulling your hair from it's messy bun, and attempted to pull it into a decent ponytail. You sifted through your closet and found your go to dress. It was just the right mixture of comfortable and actually decent looking. After slipping it on, you went to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror, you attempted to put on makeup, and fix your ponytail. Once you had given up, you headed out to the living room, where Clint sat waiting.

"Did you put away the pizza?" You asked, glancing at your now vacant coffee table.

"Yes, and the sodas." Clint stood up, turning to look at you. "Oh my gosh! You look incredible."

You blushed slightly, and let an awkward giggle out, "You clean up pretty well yourself." You leaned up, pressing a small kiss on his nose.

"Let's go!" Clint grabbed your hand, pulling you out of your apartment, only stopping for you to lock your door.

The two of you walk down the stairs, and out towards his truck. He opens the door for you, and helps you inside before jumping into the drivers seat.

After a short drive, Clint parks his truck on a side road, and leads you towards a small restaurant, in the middle of nowhere. As you walk in, you take in the scenery. Plants hung from the ceiling and wooden beams, there was candles on each table, and the lighting was low. A small waterfall trickled down the far away wall, fairy lights lit the room, and the place was almost empty.

"This place is beautiful." You breathed as the hostess lead you to a table with a little 'reserved' sign on it.

Clint smiled softly, "I'm glad you like it." He glanced around, smiling at a waitress, who was waving at him. "It's one of my favourite places."

The waitress made her way over, slapping Clint on the shoulder. "Hey! It's been too long since you've been here! I saw you on the news the other day. You better be careful, Clinton, or else you're gonna become famous."

Clint laughed, ordering himself a glass of wine, and me a virgin mojito. "I think that ship has sailed." Clint whispered as he gestured to a couple of teen guys who were watching the two of you.

"Oh heck!" You whisper to him. "I see now why we stay on my couch so often. Not that I'm complaining." You look back over to the guys, when one of them gets up, walking over to the two of you.

"Hi...um...I just wanted to thank you, you helped my cousin off of Sokovia. He was there for a few days to visit our grandparents. He told me about you, and, well, I really appreciate it." The teen choked out, his eyes glistening with tears.

You looked over to Clint, who's eyes allowed a tear to fall. He stood up, hugging the boy tightly. "I'm glad that I could help. I hope your cousin's doing alright." Clint whispered.

The boy stood speechless, as Clint clung to him, the two's arms intertwined. "Thank you." The boy whispered, pulling Clint closer, before letting go. "Thank you." He said again, making his way back to his table.

You smiled at Clint as he sat back down. "That was adorable." You grabbed his hand from across the table. "You're adorable." You gave his hand a light squeeze.

Clint looked at you for a moment, curiosity played on his face, but he said nothing, only smiled, squeezing your hand. "I think you're pretty adorable yourself." He smirked.

"What? Little old me?" You joked with him, putting on a sweet, southern belle, accent.

Clint stood up again, walking over to your side of the table and kneeling down to meet your eyes. He cupped your cheek with his hand, and leaned his forehead on yours. "Yes." He breathed, his lips ghosting your own. "You're...so...adorable." He placed his lips on yours, giving you a soft kiss, before pulling away. The waitress came back over with your drinks, and a sly joke about your kiss. You laughed as you placed your order, your hand still intertwined with Clint's.

The two of you continue to laugh and talk throughout dinner, your legs brushing against each other. After dessert, the two of you head back to Clint's truck, his arm hanging delicately on your waist, your head rested on his shoulder.

The drive home felt shorter than the drive there, and you soon were at your door, Clint standing next to you, not quite ready to say goodnight. "Do you wanna come in? We can continue watching that documentary from the other night." You smile up at him, whilst unlocking your door.

Clint places a kiss on your forehead, and opened your door, walking into your apartment and flopping on your couch. You flop down next to him and turn on the tv, "Adorable." You whisper, as you lean up to kiss him.

"Adorable."
