Rain poured around you as you ran into a little coffee shop just off the bridge by your house. You didn't think it was raining as hard as it was, so when you left you didn't see the need for an umbrella. Big mistake.

You were soaked, and cold. You were ready for a nice hot coffee. The owner of the coffee shop had your order ready before you even got up to the counter. He was tall, with greying hair, and he was around the age of 50. You thought of him as a father figure, so it was no surprise when he offered you a blanket and asked the man sitting by the fire place if you could sit with him.

When you went to pay he refused, telling you that it was on the house today. You smiled, thanking him, and sitting by the man near the fire place. You shiver as you sit, holding your coffee cup, and willing it to heat your body. The man sitting next to you stares at you with bewilderment, his blue eyes examining you as you drink.

"Is everything ok?" You ask, feeling slightly self conscious. You were not used to getting attention, and you weren't even sure why he was staring at you.

"My lady, I do apologize, my eyes seemed to have drifted and my mind slightly distracted by your beauty." The man slowly speaks, his voice deep and holds a slight accent.

You chuckle at his words and begin to blush, suddenly aware of yourself. "Well, thank you." You say, for lack of a better response. "You are quite the looker yourself. I am (y/n) by the way." You look down.

"(y/n)" He repeats, "Hello, (y/n), My name is Thor, son of Odin, from Asgard. Would you be interested in going to dinner with me tonight?"

Shocked, you stutter a simple yes. Sitting in silence as you finish your coffee, you get up to leave.

"Wait." Thor booms, "Where should I meet you?" He asks.

You grab a napkin and write down your address, "Here, come here at 7 tonight, I will see you then." You smile and walk back home through the rain.
