Chapter 12

Carly's P.O.V

I didn't see much of Harry after that, except for dinner and getting ready for bed. He tried his best to act well, and happy in front of my parents, but he didn't fool me. His eyes were still puffy and swollen and bloodshot, I felt like I needed to cuddle him but I refrained myself from him.

Thursday was a blur, it was pretty normal. No new news, gossip or further plans for Friday. I had the usual; English, Maths and Science which is pretty boring if you ask me? Even Harry was out of my sight nearly all day, until I get home. He is laying on the sofa on his laptop so I turn the TV on to some kind of music channel as I'm not sure what to put on and we awkwardly sit in silence.

"Can you not tell anyone about my breakdown after school yesterday?" He said into the silence, still staring at his laptop.

"I keep enough secrets with you than any of my friends, plus no one knows you live with me" I mutter, that was true. We didn't have secrets because we didn't keep anything to ourselves if it was bugging us, we would just broadcast it to the group.

"Sorry, you're the only one I like talking to remember?" He smiles so I just smile at him. 

I pulled my phone out my pocket and searched for the group chat that consisted with; Poppy, Gabs and I, and texted them:

Me: Hey guys, I don't know what to wear? Help!?xo

I got an instant reply off of each girl, as we began planning our outfits for tomorrow night, wanting to impress some of the hot faces, that might be going. Probably Poppy wants to impress Luke and Gabs likes Michael. I basically don't like anyone, except for the teacher sat on the opposite sofa from me.

In the end it looks like I'm wearing a daisy printed playsuit with black strappy heals, because I don't want to stand out too much. We all then decided to get ready at Poppy's house, as it's closest to Nando's, and she has the biggest bedroom to sort everything out in.

At dinner mum and dad told me that they were going out tomorrow night for dinner, to a friend's get together, and they were staying over, as it was a couple of hours away from here and they wanted a 'drink', in other words an older aged party which probably had more cheese and red wine. Harry said he was going out as well, but he insisted to give me his number, as he was staying around the area and would bring me back from the party. Basically he was my babysitter.

After the long discussion of the plans about tomorrow, I went and took a shower to wash my body and hair ready for tomorrow night. When I got out I wrapped myself in my towel and quickly brushing my teeth. When I was done I opened the door to Harry, bumping into him and nearly dropping my towel. 

"Shit sorry!" He mumbled beginning to laugh, as I started to laugh at the rising awkwardness. I stepped around him, and he began to walk into the bathroom still laughing like hyenas.

I got into bed and fell asleep straight away. Hoping tomorrow will be as good as it sounds.

I woke up early in the morning and started to apply the light make up I normally wear, as tonight I was going to be wearing  approximately everything in my make up bag. Then I began to curl my hair, which I will also probably perfect later at Poppy's later.

School was normal however there was so much hype for tonight, it was buzzing around the whole school which included a few of the lower year because they're 'popular'.

Michael and Calum were extremely excited for their first gig. Apparently they have a massive surprise, and they have been wanting to tell us for a few weeks. I secretly asked Calum about it on the way to Business Studies, and he told me there was a new guy joining the band and he will be there tonight. 

At lunch we prepared the whole time table, the boys told us we needed to be there an hour earlier than the others to set up, and we planned to go to Nando's for tea so we wouldn't die of starvation. In the end we decided:

3:30-5:00pm: Get ready at Poppy's

5:30pm: Nando's for tea

7:00pm: Graces to help the boys

7:45pm: PARTY!!

We didn't plan what time we were leaving though, so I guess it was just leave when everyone else does. I might as well stay and help the boys clear up their gear after. As well as Calum telling me about some of their secret, he told me Michael was going to ask Gabs out which I think everyone was fed up of waiting for them to.

School finally ended after double Spanish, and we made our way to Poppy's house, I quickly texted Harry that I won't see him until later tonight for when he picks me up. I also told him to have a good night as well, I don't know where he's going but I hope it cheers him up.

When we got to Poppy's we all started showing each other our outfits, I started with mine which they both loved as they helped me pick it out, Poppy was planning on wearing a bodycon black dress with black heals, and Gabs was going to wear a loose, floaty cream dress that has lace on the shoulders with black wedged heals.

I re-curled my hair, while the others styled theirs and we all put quite a lot of make up on. I put my normal; foundation, concealer and perfected my eyebrows. As well as applying a heavy, dark smokey eye on the lid, with winged eye liner and a raspberry red lipstick.

We were all ready by the time we planned, and to be honest we all look pretty damn gorgeous!

We called Michael and Calum to say we were on our way to Nando's and off we went, walking into the busy public town of Cheshire.
