I met the girls outside my house, we all looked pretty good considering how much sleep we had. Poppy was wearing high waisted acid wash shorts pairing them with a white crop top, she was also wearing white converse and her hair was braided into a fishtail. As for Gabs, she wore a pair of blue jeans and a baggy t-shirt with black pumps. Her hair was collected on the top of her head into a messy bun with us all wearing minimal make up. Anyway I'm not really bothered about what I look like in front of my best friends.

We made our way to Calum's to meet the others, Michael and Luke were meeting us there as they had to pick up some food for the picnic that was planned. Calum called me before I met the girls saying that Michael didn't have time to ask Gabs out last night, so he's chosen to ask today which I find incredibly cute. He's going to take her on a 'romantic' walk apparently, and just pop the question.

Today will be the first day Luke has decided to even meet us in at least a year, maybe more since he ditched us every weekend. Giving us excuses every time we planned anything, he even bailed on Michael's birthday to meet the 'popular's', as we found out by bumping into him at Nando's later that evening.

"Hey Calum!" We all cheered as he opened the door, he jumped out the door quickly shutting it behind him and all I heard was shouting and banging coming from inside the house. His chocolate puppy eyes were puffy and red, he certainly looked like he had been crying. He was wearing ripped, black skinny jeans and a band t-shirt, like normal, but his personality didn't match.

"What's happened?" I asked him, quickly bringing him into a tight hug while he just shook his head pulling away from the hug, and started to stride across the street. We ran after him to catch up with his long legs. Poppy and Gabs went past him to walk together ahead, leaving us alone at the back.

"Calum..." I asked, quite concerned.

"Parents..." Is all he whispered, I put my hand on his back and he put his hand around my waist. He is my best friend, and I hate seeing him like this. "By the way Ashton is meeting us there too"

I simply nod remembering the guy from yesterday. He took my breathe away! I'm happy that he's coming today, but I don't think he will ever like me in 'that' way because I have no chance.

When we reach the park that was filled with empty lush meadows, trees forming across the whole landscape like pieces of broccoli that we sometimes have for dinner, the scenery always took my breathe away. We were told to meet them by the huge oak tree, that had always been our 'hanging' spot. We always used to meet up here, play guitar together, sing or draw each other. I have kept all of those memories in a box somewhere, I really need to find it again.

"ASHTON!" We all screamed, even Calum. He was just pulling up in his the dark coloured car in the car pack opposite us, I don't know the make of his vehicle as I'm useless with that kind of stuff, but it wasn't too bad however it was defiantly not new, but it was looked after. As soon as I saw him, my breath was taken away... Again. His hair was pushed back by black printed bandanna, and he was basically wearing what he was last night, black skinny jeans and another type of band top just like Calum's. it looked like they all were on Skype with each other before meeting up to make sure they all wore the same. Something girls do to make sure 'they look okay'.

Ashton immediately ran towards us holding a guitar and some other stuff in a bag. I noticed a football, it they're going to make me play football again I will probably fall over, brake something or embarrass myself in front of everyone. We all know what mistake that was from last time I ended up playing.

"Ash!" Calum let go of the grip on my lower back, as he gave Ashton a manly hug. Calum looked a lot happier now he was smiling and being his immature and usual safe.
