*This book is currently undergoing an edit to promote its readability, clarity, and overall writing, I apologize for any inconsistencies while I edit it.*

Hello. Welcome. This book is different than what I usually write but seems to be a way people have been finding my profile, so hi! Ironically enough, this is the first published book I have on this profile, and I've been in the process of writing it for years now (I say, in April of 2021, to be fair, I have left it alone, unfinished for a while).

Before we begin, I wanted to acknowledge that I'm not saying that these cliches are bad, or that you can't use them. I'm simply stating things that I see a lot of on Wattpad (And in real books) and the title of this book (101 Cliches on Wattpad That We're Tired Of Hearing) has nothing to do with my actual feelings towards these points. Again, when I started this book, I chose a title, which now, looking back, can be a little misleading.

I also wanted to mention that there are thousands of books like this on Wattpad, some of which I've read, and may have taken indirect/direct inspiration from, and used some of the same cliches. Saying this, I did not copy/paste their writing into my book, this writing is my own. As it has been years since I began, I did not keep a log of sources and am unable to identify the books I was inspired by. If you recognize any of these cliches from other books, let me know, as I will do my best to give credit where it is due.

Next, feedback is the best thing I could ask for. Comment, vote, share if you want, it truly makes my day when I see a comment from someone (You guys are actually the sweetest). Speaking of which, the feedback so far has been amazing. I'm truly appreciative of all the love you've shown this book.

Lastly, I wanted to go over the format of this book, which is as follows:

Title of the part: The title of the part will be the name of the cliche, followed by the cliche number it is in brackets (Like so, 'The Mirror Description (1)')

Body of the part: The cliche will be bolded, in the first line of text, followed by an example, why this is annoying, and how to fix it. Each subheading will be underlined and the example will be in italics. Like so:

Pretend this is the cliche!

Example:

This would be an example of the cliche, written as if it's in a book.

Why This Is Annoying:

A brief explanation of why this is annoying/is a cliche. Keep in mind this is *my* opinion. You are entitled to your own of course.

How to Fix It:

This is where I give you a couple of other options of how to accomplish the same thing, or how to make the cliche less cliche-like.

*This just signifies the end of the part.*

Alrighty, without further ado, let's look at these cliches.
