Example:
Lily wasn't your average girl. Sure, she seemed normal, but she wasn't.
Why this is annoying/needs to stop:
Really? Really? They aren't average, that's just saying they're special or different. How many times have you heard that?
How to fix it:
Leave out the average part, honestly. It's not that hard. Geez.
