It was the day of engagement Arnav was ready and just then his phone rang his face had a bright smile as he read the name that flashed on the screen  "Khushi".

Hello, sweetheart, he spoke in his ever so husky voice sending goosebumps to Khushi.

Hi, Arnav so are we ready then? she asked

Absolutely, Just so eager Jaan to meet you. Are you ready? He asked maintaining the same huskiness in his voice.

Yeah almost will start for the venue in few minutes and I have a surprise for you she said.

What surprise?

Thora intezaar kijiye Mr Raizada.(Wait a little bit Mr Raizada).

Okay, I am waiting be fast.(He took some pause) Umm, Jaan you are fine right? Arnav asked his voice little hesitant.

Yeah, I am fine love why did you ask that she was perplexed.

Don't know I... I feel little anxious and nervous. I hope everything goes well today. He said.

Ofcourse everything is going to be absolutely perfect love. This nervousness is just because we are going to start a new phase of life. Even I am little nervous but I am excited too. She said walking towards the cab. Okay, I am starting for R.M. now.

Yup, take care he said hanging up the call but this restelessness in him it was different. May be Khushi was right he was just overthinking.

"Arnav" Ratna called him. If you are ready come downstairs. Khushi's family is about to come. Shashi ji gave me a call.

Arnav comes out of his room and moves towards the hall. For a moment he stopped the place was decorated really well. Everthing looked simply beautiful. He heard some voices and camr out of his stance and looked at the direction of voices.
Shashi, Garima, Aakash, Payal, Aman, Alisha, Aarav, N.K. and Sheetal all were standing at the door. But his eyes were seraching for her. Where was she? He moves towards Khushi's family and greets everyone joining his hand then he bends down and touches Shashi and Garima's feet to take blessing from them.

Khush rahiye damaadji(Stay happy son-in-law) they bless him. Everyone comes inside but Arnav was still standing at the door looking at the door as if searching something. Just them Aman taps on his shoulder he looks at him. Kise dhund rahe ho jijaji(Who are you searching brother in law). Asks Aman

No, I was just checking out decoration Arnav says.

You can't fool me Aman says. She is on her way be patient she will come.

Arnav grins he was caught. Fine, he had no patience to see his girl. But was it so clearly visible to everyone? He thought to himself.

Some half an hour passed yet there was no sign of her. Now he was losing his calm. He walks to Aman.

Aman, did you call her how much time does she need to be here? Arnav asked. He was again feeling restless.

No, Relax Arnav she would be here anytime Aman said.

But he couldn't from morning he was getting some negatove vibes as if something wrong is going to happen. He ignored it till now but at the moment he felt so scared. He gives her a call. Her phone was just ringing she wasn't picking it up. Now, this was totally taking the life out of him. Why was her phone unreachable some more minutes passed his eyes were on the door. He thought to go out and check but every time he tried to go there would be someone or else who would stop him.

It was almost 45 mins now and she wasn't yet in R.M. he again gave her a call but again it was ringing but she wasn't answering. He was about to give her a call again when Aman pats his back.
