(A/n)- This was requested by -LordDominator. Go check them out. Sorry if it's not on point. Thanks for reading!

You lurked the alleys, searching for the one person with information. It was raining, and your black coat was getting drenched waiting outside. "Where is she, dang it?", you asked impatiently.

As if on cue, the said woman stepped into the narrow space between the buildings. "Ah, (Y/n). Good to see you." You turned around to be met with her vibrant blue eyes.

"Long time, no see...Nathalie."

She walked slowly to you, smirking. None of this is worth it... You looked down, examining her hands with the files.

"Before I hand this over, you understand your part of the bargain, right?"

She clutched the folder closer to her body, hesitant to give them to you. You nodded your head with an emotionless expression. "I won't tell a soul."

Her damp hands pushed the files towards you. You grabbed them and looked at it, anticipating. "I must go now. He'll get suspicious of I'm away for too long."

With that, Nathalie vanished into the rainy night. You looked at the folder in your hands. A tiny peek for right now wouldn't hurt.

You opened it, a delectable amount of information written solely for you. A single rain drop landed on your face. You left it there as you kept reading.

In room 12, left on the second floor.

Your eyes slightly widened. How...interesting. Your cloaked form went out into the rain, walking home.

You kept your hood down as to not attract attention. One wrong move and everyone could know who he was. You clutched the folder tightly against your hunched over form.

"Cursed rain..."

You walked into your apartment, locking the door behind you. "At last... I know who Hawkmoth is.", you growled. You set the papers down on your nightstand, admiring the mini figurines that adorned it.

Soon, you went to bed. You closed your eyes and fell asleep. That night, it was the same.

The past came back to haunt you. You tossed and turned unknowingly. You fully submerged yourself beneath the covers.

The next day, the rain had subsided. It was sprinkling while the clouds were still as grey as smoke. To you, it felt nice and warm.

Welcoming, yet lonely.

You grabbed the folder from your nightstand and read over them once more. You then decided on an approach. "She said it's dark... I like dark."

You chose an all black outfit, ready for a sneaking expedition. Grabbing the papers, you headed out into the world. Today marks the time when I make history. They won't be laughing then!

You ran to the Agreste Mansion, climbing your way to the second floor. You saw it. Clear as day.

The room where the evil master mind did his bidding was right here above your nose this entire time. You walked closer, scanning for a vent.

You eventually found one and went in. You heard a voice talking. You crawled your way until you were there.

Hawkmoth's lair.

Your landing made a noise. Hawkmoth turned to see you with your firsts proudly placed on your hips. "Impossible! How did you get in here?!"

You looked down, darkness covering your eyes. Your long bangs fell over your face.  (If you don't have long bangs, change it please.).

Hawkmoth got a closer look at you. He saw your (H/l), (H/c) hair. Your (S/t) skin, how it complimented the room.

"You don't have to know. But I need some answers, and you're gonna answer them."

He was flustered, caught off guard. You used this to your advantage. "First question."

He could only stare in awe. How could a mere female do this to me? It's-it's like I'm not in control of my own body. You looked up, pulling your cloak off, revealing your true identity.

"(Y/n)? I-I thought you were-"

"Dead?", you spat. "Guess again, old friend." You cleared your throat and prepared for your interrogation.

"Why did you resort to evil, Gabriel?"

Hawkmoth averted his gaze, swear forming on the back of his neck. "To avenge somebody.", he rushed.

"Ahh, and who might that person be?", you asked him. Hawkmoth tensed up. He wasn't ready to admit it yet.

"An old colleague."

You smirked at his words. Aww, he misses me. How sweet. Maybe I can toy with his emotions. You walked closer to him, patting his shoulder.

"There, there. No need to worry. I'll be perfectly fine as long as you're with me."

You tried smiling and it worked. He took the bait. "(Y/n), what are you saying?"

You chuckled at his dumbfounded state. "I mean, I missed you, Gabriel. I love-" You couldn't bring yourself to say it.

The one line that could finish him, and you couldn't say it. It was like you were actuslly confessing. Your heart ached.

"You...what?"

The words would not come out of your mouth. You turned away and began retreating. "Never mind. I-"

"No, wait!"

Hawkmoth grabbed your wrist. He spun you around to look at him. "(Y/n), please don't leave me. I...I don't know what I would do without you again. When you switched over, so did I."

You gave in. This man really has it for me, huh? You gazed into his steel grey eyes, sparkles forming in them.

"What I'm trying to say is, I love you...(Y/n)."

You couldn't bare it, but it felt good at the same time: To hear those words from him. He once said those exact words to me... You looked doubtful.

"I-I..."

He stared into your (E/c) eyes, pleading.

"...Fine. I...love you too."

And for the first time in years, you felt happy. Gabriel made you happy. You gave up on trying to expose him as a fraud.

Because...you loved him.
