Adrien x Reader pt.2

Cat looked around frantically. "Who are you?! What have you done with (Y/n)?!" There was no one.

There was a giggle. "Such a silly kitty." He turned in the direction of the voice and pushed his staff out.

"Show yourself!"

He growled. Was this an akuma? If so why wasn't Ladybug here?

"I don't even know where Hawkmoth's lair is!" He called out. There was no reply. He looked around once more.

"I need Master Fu. He'll know what to do."

"I see. So Ladybug is nowhere to be seen?" Adrien shook his head. "No, Master. But this voice I heard, it sounded familiar."

He thought about it for a moment. Then he gasped. "It was Marinette! My friend, Marinette!"

Master Fu's eyes widened. He had to suppress any emotions. He couldn't let Adrien know.

But how could Marinette get akumatized? She's Ladybug. He hummed in thought.

"Sh-she seemed a bit upset earlier today. My girlfriend and I went to the bakery and she served us. We asked her what was wrong but she didn't want to say." Adrien looked away. "And the voice, it said to meet them to Hawkmoth's lair if I wanted to see (Y/n) again."

Master Fu took in the information. He knew of Marinette's crush on Adrien. That might have had something to do with it.

"Adrien, listen to me. Something tells me that this akuma won't be like the rest. You have to find Hawkmoth's lair, and fast. Your girlfriend could be in grave danger." He stood up and went over to the miraculous box. "You will need the help of another miraculous for this battle. Choose wisely."

Adrien followed Master Fu to the box. He eyed all of the different pieces of jewelry. Which one should he choose?

"I know."

Adrien was in his room, pacing back and forth. How was he going to find Hawkmoth's lair? And who should he trust with this miraculous?

Plagg sighed. "Will you give it a rest already? All this moving back and forth is giving me a headache. And where's my cheese?" Adrien shot him a glare.

"No, Plagg. You're supposed to be helping me, not laying around doing nothing." Plagg rolled his eyes. "Well, between you and the screaming from the vents, I can't even think. Much less help you look for your princess."

Adrien paused. "D-did you say screaming?" He furrowed his brows.

Plagg rolled over. "Yeah. It's been going on for the past hour. How can you not hear it?" Adrien ran over to the vent.

What was going on?

He could hear voices. They were distant, but there. He pressed his ear against the vent.

"I still don't understand what she has to do with getting the miraculous."

Adrien's eyes shot open. That voice didn't sound familiar. And getting the miraculous?

Wait...Hawkmoth?!

"Pacience, Hawkmoth. It's all in my plan." Adrien gasped. He found Hawkmoth?!

But...in his house?! What is going on?! He rushed to Plagg, taking him and zipping out his room.

"Plagg, claws out!" And he was transformed. He leapt down the stairs and ran down the hall.

It sounded like the voices were coming from underneath the house. But how does one get under the house without...a secret passageway! Cat raced down the hall and came to his mother's painting.
