I've pretty much adapted to the modern world. All thanks to my step-siblings, obviously. I also enjoyed the attention bestowed on me by my admirers also known as fans. The modern world is a wonderful yet complex place. I've realised that certain things cease to change. Power struggles, being one of them. And thus, I can't trust people easily. At work, I have to be careful. People can exploit you if you are weak or allow them to get too close to you. Scandals are preposterously generated and people, easily misled.
The irony of ease and complexity makes the modern world intriguing. I've been busy with work and thankfully, haven't ruined Joongi's image but bettered it.
I've never really run into Ha Jin ever since the day at the club. But Hana does speak of her a great deal since they have become acquainted with each other.
Jonghyun and Hana have only gotten closer and I'm sure it's only a matter of time till they form a romantic relationship. Maybe the sibling issue is what's holding them back, I don't know. But they both know they aren't blood related. So it cannot be incest, logically speaking. Sometimes, I am tempted to inform them that in their earlier lives they were step-siblings and still were allowed to marry; in fact Wang Yo had eyed Yeonhwa as his queen. She had been uncomfortable with him back then.
But here, they were quite fond of each other. And made such a dear pair. Seohyun and Joohyuk made steady progress but their busy schedule made their visits lesser than usual. Of late, Seohyun was on a world tour with her idol members and the strain was showing on Joohyuk's behaviour. He ate less. Composed and painted more. He poured himself more into theatre too and came home less.
Hana had completed her final year at college and her modeling career was going quite well. She received an offer to star in a movie but was interested in tv series so chose a small role in a romantic tv series instead. Haneul was doing well and acting in big budget movies. Jonghyun and Sanho helped strengthen Taejo Enterprises. Sanwoo opened a new club in Busan. And got a new girlfriend since the last one left for China and refused to return from there. She had decided to devote her life to learn all the teachings of East Asian philosophy and live a monastic life. Luckily for Sanwoo, his new girlfriend did not really think much about life and was more interested in making him happy and looking pretty. Jisoo was part of the national soccer team and was often away, practising or competing.
Today was Hana's graduation party. Since I had been shooting for an action movie in Singapore, I had missed her graduation and she demanded that I throw her a party to make up for my absence. I agreed and with Jonghyun and Sanwoo's help, organized a party at one of Sanwoo's high-end clubs. It was a gala night.
Hana was the centre of attention and looked happy and cute.

She had developed a fancy for an idol group named Seventeen since a friend at college, Jeonghan was a singer in the group. I recall often seeing her chat with him and Jonghyun constantly feeling annoyed by his presence. I found Jeonghan quite nice. His demeanour was pleasant and he was very patient with Hana. Joohyuk looked tired though he tried to keep a happy face. He had thoroughly exhausted himself.
