Chapter 18

I'm now at a hospital in Copenhagen. How great that I can barely speak any Danish or understand their language. At least that's not the most important thing right now.

As soon as Omar and I got the information of where the ambulance would take Oscar and his crew, we packed some bags before leaving the apartment. We didn't even think of the time, this was too important to care.

I also hadn't been able to think of how it would feel to actually see Oscar in person.

I had been dreaming about this for what seems like forever, but out of all possibilities I never thought it would be like this. At a hospital.

Right now Omar and I are sitting in a waiting room while Oscar and his crew are getting help.

I haven't seen Oscar yet, since we got here after them. I really do hope everyone is okay though.

"How are you?" Omar asks me.

"I am fine, just worried."

"I can understand that, but I'm sure it will be fine." He says, taking my hand in his.

I'm thankful to have such a best friend like Omar, and at a moment like this I realise I don't need a lot of friends since I already have the best.

So many thoughts appear in my mind and at first I didn't even notice the doctor standing in front of us. Omar gives me a light push to make me come back to reality and when I do, I almost stare at her. I'm just too scared of hearing what she's about to say, and if possible my heart is beating even faster.

"You know Oscar Enestad, right?"

I nod.

"Well, thankfully he is okay, he's just quite shocked after everything that happened. Right now he is also asleep, he seemed really exhausted."

I feel pretty calm hearing those news, even though I'm most likely the reason he's tired. I was the one keeping him awake until the ambulance arrived after all.

"How about the others?" I ask, remembering his crew is just as important.

"I'm not sure I can tell you."

I directly understand something is wrong. And it's probably not even my right to know.

"It's okay." I answer, giving her a slight smile even though I don't feel happy at all.

It feels as if this is going to be a long night but it doesn't matter as long as Oscar is getting the help he needs. I will do everything for this guy, especially after everything he's done to me without even being aware of it.
