You walked out as Coulson fell to the ground. Loki walked over to drop Thor. You picked up a com and put it in your ear. Everything was a mess. "Does anyone copy?" Called Furry's voice.
"This is Agent Romanoff, I copy." Rang through your ear and you froze looking to Loki, he was staring right at you. "(Y/N)," he said heating your thoughts.
You clutched your sword and started to walk off. "(Y/N)." He boomed demandingly. You turned to him slightly trembling. He had a sympathetic look.
"Don't." Is all he said. You both stood for a moment and you put your sword away. You started walking around he circle towards him. "I need a minute." You said walking through some hallway. You paused catching your breath. The image of her on top of you booming in your temple.
You jerked your head hearing a loud blast noise and ran to Loki, a giant melted hole in the wall, Loki on the other side. "Loki!" You gasped helping him up. He groaned but was fine.
"Come on, let's go." You said and he nodded. He put his arm around you to your lower back guiding you in front of him as yo both quickly made your way to the jet.
"Where's Barton?" Loki asked. "Compromised." You said. You tossed the com from your ear over the side as you entered the jet. All the soldiers you brought were gone. The pilot only remained.
"Wow." Loki said looking around. "Tell me about it, I brought it here full." You said sitting down and taking off your hood and face guard as it shaped itself into a small gold line lining your cheek bones.
Loki smiled brightly and walked over holding you, you quickly held him back. He sat down and you straddled him nuzzling your face in the crook of his neck.
"I missed you." You said softly inhaling his scent. He did the same to you. "I missed you too." He admitted. "I love your outfit." He chuckled and to say back talking together.
"So, how long do we have before all goes to hell?" You asked after a while of talking. "Most likely overnight before they realize where the Tesseract is." He said and you chuckled and held his face.
"I missed you so much." You said again and he smiled holding your hand. "You didn't like being in charge did you dear?" He teased and you giggled some. "Nope." You popped the 'p' and you both chuckled some.
"I missed that Smile." He said rubbing a thumb across your lip. "You watched over me didn't you?" He asked and you blushed. His thumb moved across your cheeks. "Clearly you did." He smiled and you smiled some biting your lip looking down. "I just wanted to see if you were okay." You defended.
"Oh darling it wasn't a complaint." He said and you smiled looking back into his piercing eyes. You shared a soft kiss before you sat with your foreheads against each others for a bit.
Your eyes flickered and the image of Romanoff on you flashed over your vision, you screaming this time and in the same outfit.
You gasped slightly and shook your head and the image went away. Loki frantically holding your face and back. "Shh, sh it's okay," he comforted and you breathed heavy.
"It's coming sooner than we thought." You swallowed. "Hey," he said lifting your chin. "It's okay, you hear me? You're safe I've got you." He said rubbing the spot of your back. You closed your eyes and lent your face into his hand.
"You've not been sleeping well." He said, you thought it as a question. "Yea I have." You said. "No, you haven't." He said and you sighed not opening your eyes.
"Come here." He said and he held you as you put your head on his shoulder. He rubbed your back and played with your hair. "Sleep." He said softly, and you were out like a light.
With Loki gone, your nightmares and visions increased horribly. You slept all the way through the night four times in two weeks. Yet when he held you, you felt completely rejuvenated.
