Track 15: Two less lonely People

Kongpob's

I was awaken with the sound of my phone ringing on my study table. I rose up from the bed and stretched my arm to reach and to see who was calling.

As soon as i got the phone with my hand, i immediately answered the call.

"Kong! We're going somewhere"

Arthit's

I was currently talking with P'Tum around the bonfire when P'Fang arrived with Kongpob.

They went straight to P'Tum to greet him a happy birthday and P'Fang handed him her gift.

"I'm sorry P' i didn't get the chance to buy a gift for you." Kongpob apologize

"It's okay Nong. Having you here is already enough for me. Thank you." P'Tum replied.

"Aww! It was my fault Ai'Tum i forgot to tell him that today was your birthday ." P'Fang said. "Aw! N'Arthit! Sawasdee" P'Fang wai-ed at me which i wai-ed back at her in return.

"Sawatdee krub P'Arthit"

I turned my head to see Kongpob looking at me with his hands clasped together.

"Sawatdee" i replied.

Everyone's busy with the party, you wouldn't see P'Tum without P'Fone sticking to his side. They really look perfect together and i'm happy how they care about each other. Then, i just remembered someone ...

"Guys! I'll just take a walk"

I walked barefoot on the sand following the trails of someone's scent which was calmly sitting on the seashore. I stopped and restrained my self to go near him and thought that for sure he's still mad at me. I took my phone from my pocket and took a picture of him. This is the first picture of him i took with my phone which made me think, if how many pictures do i have in his phone.

It was only him who works hard for this relationship regardless of my bad temper and considering that i was the one who asked for a chance, for this chance.

I jumped in surprise as a cold hand patted my shoulder. I turned my head only to see Ai'Knott grinning.

"What are you doing here looking at that junior Ai'Arthit?" He asked. "Anything to tell me?" He continued.

I froze upon hearing the way how he talked. It seemed like he knew something, seemed like he knew 'bout us.

He invited me for a seat far from Kongpob but enough to keep my eyes on him and lock my gaze on him.

I told Ai'Knott everything, from the beginning 'till the end, nothing's filtered even the way how i treated Kongpob regardless of the fact that it was me who asked for a chance, a chance for us, for us to be together.

"You know i don't have any idea of what's you're going through and how does it felt to be in that state but one thing's i know about love for sure Ai'Arthit, that it's the greatest moment that happens to everyone's life. And that includes you." I turned my head to see him gazing at the night sky.

Ai'Knott and I were childhood friends and we witnessed each other's flaws and i my self had witnessed how devoted he was to his dreams and his dreams for his family which was the reason why he's still single.

"We agreed to not enter intimate relationship until we graduate but i will let it pass this time because i've seen you like i never did before." He continued and chuckled.

We chuckled in unison as he rubbed my back giving me comfort which was truly comforting anyway.

"Wait, just stay here one moment" he said and stood up.

"Here." He handed me two cans of drinks with his brows going ups and downs. "Go to him." He continued.

He smiled at me and signaled to get the cans which i grabbed immediately and smiled back at him.

Step by step i am fast approaching near him. I couldn't take it anymore so i ran as fast as i could and held my self back as soon as i reached behind him. Just a meter away and i'm solved.

I intentionally put the can on his cheek which made him jolted in surprise and probably by the cold as well.

"Kong"

I muttered as if like i don't want anyone to hear it but him.

"P-P'Arthit" He uttered in response.

Ahh. Why does my name hears so good whenever he say it.

I handed him one of the can and took a seat beside him.

"What are you doing here P'Arthit?"

"I should be the one asking you that, the celebration's over there and you're here." I replied.

"I was just taking advantage of the perfect scenery and the fresh air." He articulated. "And it became more perfect since you came." He continued.

There. He came again. I was frozen and i was speechless. I was just looking at him gazing at the stars from above. And before i know it he was also already looking at me.

In my life where everything was wrong
Something finally went right
Now there's two less lonely people
In the world tonight

"Did i already tell you P'?"

"That what?" I asked curiously

"That every single day i am falling deeper in love with you."

Flabbergasted, i maintained looking at him with all the goosebumps i was feeling all over my body. I felt my face so hot regardless of the cold breeze so i was sure i was so red at the moment. And what happened next made me redden more.

He wrapped his hand around my neck and grabbed me smoothly near him and then right after i just felt my lips pressed against his.

And all the things I never knew
Seemed to come to me somehow

I was deafened by my heart's loud beats  and was blinded by the love i felt as his lips continue to explore mine.

I hit him on his head as soon as we released each other.

"What was that for P'!" He cried while rubbing his head.

"You're so!" I preached

"Give me your hand P'"

I stretched my hand to him and to my surprise, he handed me his gear.

"Please take good care of this P'"
