The first thing you would notice, right when you've arrived at Eventide, is the building's unusual structure. At more than seven times taller than it was wide, Eventide is definitely not something you'd call practical.
The second thing you would notice, right when you've walked in, is how the floors are literally magnetic. This means that you could walk on both the ceiling and the walls, not just the floor. Also, every time you switched the surface you were walking on, new furniture would pop out from that surface, while the furniture from the one you just left would fade.
If you were not elvin, you would also notice how grand our house was; normal for an elf, but overly clean for an ogre, too impractical for a goblin, exceedingly magnificent for the average humble gnome, immensely, eye-blindingly neon for a troll, and simply so huge a human would get lost in it.
However, you would probably never notice the excessive amounts of nooks and crannies, perfect for hiding scraps of secret messages in.
Why are there so many nooks and crannies?
It's because I am Everlie Revier, a member of Evening.
