'Would this social situation call for me to feel awkward? Those girls clearly are.'
Luna thought to herself as she stared at Faragonda, who sat across from her, the girls, and the pixies. From her peripheral vision she noticed that they had various expressions of annoyance and curiosity. The pixies all seemed to be nervous with the exclusion of Mia, who still seemed annoyed from Tecnas earlier comment. Faragonda smiled softly while Griselda looked down on the students over her glasses.
'Maybe I should say something.'
"Excuse me, but, why am I here? I would think that I'm not in trouble considering I was only trying to help."
"Oh it's nothing like that. If anything I wanted to thank you for coming to the rescue of the girls today."
"Oh. I'm sure you would have been fine without me. Someone would have figured out their weakness eventually. And you already knew what it was, so it was only a matter of time."
"Speaking of, Ms Faragonda, how come those creatures weren't in my database but you knew what they were?"
Faragonda gave a soft smile at Tecnas question.
"There is a reason for that. As I said before those creatures, Shadow Ghouls, are an ancient species. They were thought to have died off eons ago. The only reason I even know about them is from a story I heard as a young girl. Although there may be books about them somewhere in the school. There are books here that even I have never seen. But let's put a pin in that for now. I think it's time we talk about Luna."
Well you're here for a few reasons actually. To learn more about magic. To become a stronger fairy. But I think there is a reason you came here yourself. I believe it was to find someone."
Lunas eyes widened a fraction.
"You want to talk about me?"
"Of course. Everyone comes to Alfea for a reason. Some come to learn about magic, others do so to become more powerful. But there are those who come here in search of something, or someone."
Luna flinched back ever so slightly in her chair.
"How did you...? I never told anyone about that."
Faragonda gave a small laugh at Luna's reaction. Stella growled, clearly growing irritated of waiting in silence.
"Urgh! Ms F, can you please tell us what's going on. What were those monsters? How did they get inside Alfea? Are they gonna come back? And most importantly, who is she?"
Stella pointed rather rudely at Luna. Aisha huffed, elbowing Stella in the side.
"Well, why don't you let Luna answer that last question?"
With all eyes on her Luna fought the desire to freeze up on the spot.
"My name is Luna Crystal, the princess of Crystallia. I am the guardian of the Dragons Ice. It's always been my destiny to harbor and protect this power."
"What exactly is the Dragons Ice? I've never heard of it before now."
Bloom questioned, leaning in closer.
"Well in the beginning there was nothing. From that nothingness the Twin Great Dragons were born. Flame, the dragon of creation, and Ice, the dragon of destruction. Despite their names, both dragons were easily capable of creating and destroying. Together they not only created the Magic Dimension but also drove out any evil that came its way."
"But why has no one heard of it before now?"
"She's getting to that! Let the woman speak!"
Mia cried, stomping her foot in the air. Luna raised a hand, carefully cupping her pixie and bringing her into her lap.
