Lunas eyes slowly blinked into focus. The young princess looked around, carefully taking in her surroundings. Bubbles of various sizes floated around her and upwards towards the sky. In an attempt to reach out for them she noticed her hand moving sluggishly.

"This is... am I underwater?"

"Very clever little sister."

With a muffled gasp, Luna quickly spun around to see her elder sister floating there in all her glory.

"Angel!"

Luna kicked off the ground, swimming over to Angel and wrapping her arms around her sister in a warm embrace. Angel giggled and squeezed her sister back. Luna carefully pulled back to lock eyes with the elder princess.

"This place. Are we where I think we are?"

"If you are thinking that we are at the bottom of Lake Roccaluce than you'd be correct."

"But, why here? Why now?"

Angel gently grabbed Lunas hand and guided her closer to the center of the lake. Once there the older released Lunas hand and outstretched her other one. A glowing blue light appeared in the palm of her hand. With a quick spell, the blue light took the shape of a beating heart.

"This, my dear Luna, is your heart."

"You mean like, the one in my chest?"

"Correct. I am showing you a live representation of what your heart currently looks like."

The princess hummed in acknowledgment before squinting a bit.

"But, my heart isn't blue. It's supposed to be red."

"Yes, emphasis on supposed to be. Your heart, just like your blood, is literally blue."

"That's physically impossible."

Angel shook her head solemnly.

"You would think so, but you are a special case. Mother wasn't exaggerating when she said it seemed your heart is made of ice. It almost is."

At the confused look upon her sisters face, Angel sighed and waved her free hand over the projection of the heart. With that the blue heart turned red and shrunk in size.

"This is what your heart looked like the day you were born. But just hours later the power of the Dragons Ice took hold in your body. As it did the fundamental properties of your body changed with it. The coldness of the magic turned your blood blue along with your heart. But it didn't stop there. Your heart itself began to be coated in layers of ice. Not only that, but your soul too."

"Does this have to do with my difficulty in showing emotions?"

Angel gave a sad smile as she tilted her head.

"The soul of a person is directly linked to their emotions. Due to yours being nearly frozen your ability to show emotion has be stunted. Bu

"So, I'll never be expressive?"

"Now I never said that. Look here, at the bottom part of your heart."

Luna stepped closer to her sister and peeked at the bottom. There was an ever so small speck of red.

"It's red. A part is red."

"That's right. You never would have been open to opening up to new people if you had not come to Alfea. You've only been here for a day and you're already changing slightly on the inside. Soon enough your heart and blood will also be red, and with that comes the thaw of your soul."
