Chapter 16: Protect Red Fountain!

Luna stood in the Alfea gym wearing workout aperal. Yuki was nearby flying laps, trying to increase the strength of her wings. Luna pulled on a pair of boxing gloves and took a few easy jabs at the punching bag in front of her.

As she did, the image of Zeref kept popping back into her mind. It's been four days since the Trix attacked and the book disappeared.

'The cycle of the comet said it would arrive ten days from now. Those eyes.... they reminded me so much of Zeref.'

Luna raised her leg and delivered a kick to the side of the bag. She began going over her interaction with the man. They way he spoke to her like they were old friends.

Luna gave a sigh as she wiped sweat off her brow. She looked down and bit her lip. She looked out the window at the storm clouds. It was gonna start raining soon. She closed her eyes, trying to remember more words from Elendors book. With that thought followed a sudden wave of dizziness. She fumbled and fell to her knees. She felt like she was going to pass out and throw up. She hastily ripped off her boxing gloves and clenched her hands tightly. Yuki, who was finishing up another lap, noticed Luna on the floor and flew over.

"Hey, you okay?"

The pixie landed in front of Luna, concern etched into her features. Luna only continued to breath heavily so Yuki flew and grabbed a water bottle for the ice princess. Luna took it and chugged half of it down. She took a few more calming breaths before finally being able to stand again.

"Don't push yourself."

"I wasn't. Just felt really tired all of a sudden."

Luna grabbed her towel and wiped her face off. Yuki simply frowned at her fairy. Without another word, the two headed back to the dorms. When they got there, Luna headed straight for the showers. As she washed, Yuki flew over to Bloom.

"Bloom, something's wrong with Luna."

The redhead turned and raised an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about?"

"Well, ever since the Trix attacked she's been really tired. I'm worried."

"Now that you mention it, she has been really out of it... I'll talk to her."

Yuki smiled gratefully before heading over to the other pixies. Bloom say down on the common room couch, waiting for her counterpart. It was almost half and hour later when Luna came out in her normal clothes. Her blue eyes widened slightly.

"Hey, what's up?"

Bloom tapped her the seat next to her and Luna sat down, suspicion in her eyes.

"Are you okay? You've been off since the Trix attack."

Luna took a deep breath. Her face remained emotionless, but on the inside, she was panicking slightly. Luna simply ran her fingers through her long hair and offered a small smile.

"I'm fine. All this stuff just has me a little stressed."

Bloom stared at her with hard eyes. But Lunas expression remained still. Bloom sighed and placed a hand on Lunas shoulder.

"Luna you-"

"Girls! Listen up!"

Stella came stomping down the stairs from her room with a smile. Everyone came out of their rooms to look at the sun fairy.

"I got permission from Miss Faragonda and Saladin. We can go visit the boys at Red Fountain!"

All the girls smiled and cheered at the thought of seeing their significant others.
