Ashton walked towards me, grabbing my wrist, and pulling me out into the hallway. He closed the door behind us. "What's up?" he asked.
"What's up? What's up with you? You call me up crying yesterday and now I see you sucking face with your ex?" I asked, furiously.
"She isn't my ex anymore. She told me everything that happened. She only took the picture with the guy to make me jealous. It was her cousin, and they didn't do anything." He said.
"Ashton, I literally just broke up with Calum so I could be with you. What the hell?"
"Oh. I didn't know. I'm sorry." He said. I went down the stairs in frustration and instead of coming after me, Ashton went back into his dorm. I bumped into someone and looked up. It was the guy who was in the picture with Ashton's girlfriend.
"Oh, hey, aren't you Amanda King's cousin?" I asked, cringing at the sound of Ashton's girlfriend's name.
"Pfft. No. That'd be really gross considering all the stuff we've been doing for the past 3 months." He said, shrugging.
"Wait, you did sleep with her last night?"
"It wasn't the first time." he scoffed.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket as he passed me by. "Ashton, meet me at 1:00 at my dorm. We need to talk." I sent. It seemed like I was doing this too much, and it was getting really annoying.

Sure enough, Ashton showed up at 1:00 on the dot, and I let him into my empty room. "Amanda has been sleeping with that guy. He isn't her cousin. She lied to you." I said, getting right to the point, exhausted from running around campus all day.
"What? No. She wouldn't."
"I'm sorry." I said. Before I could say anything else, he walked out the door. I didn't go after him, just as he didn't go after me, and let him take it in on his own.
I got a call from a crying Ashton an hour later. "You were right. I talked to Amanda about it and she confessed everything. I'm so sorry."
"It's okay. I'm sorry too." I said.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. Thank you." He said, sighing.
