*One Month Later*

"Hey Ashton." I said after picking up my phone.

"Fancy dinner. You in?" he asked confidently.

"Ashton Irwin. Are you asking me on a date?" I asked.

"Sure am. But... I'm still kind of hurt from Amanda. We're going to have to take it slow. Okay?"

"Okay. Pick me up at 7." I said, seeing it was 6:50 right now.

"Open your door." he said.

I did as I was told only to reveal a tuxedoed Ashton standing before me. I smiled and got ready as he sat on my bed waiting.

"Wow. You look amazing." Ashton said as I came out of the bathroom.

"As do you." I blushed. He took my hand and we walked out to his car.

We were on our way to the restaurant when it happened. The yellow light turned into a red light as Ashton was on his iPod changing the song and continued to drive. Before I knew it, the car was in the middle of a busy intersection, and a car was charging at us. "ASHTON!" I yelled, but it was too late. The car ran into his side of the car, and we were flipped over in a ditch before he could do anything. I looked at myself. A few cuts and forming bruises from broken glass. Nothing too bad. But when I looked over at Ashton, my whole world fell apart.

The other car that ran into us crushed the entire left side of his body. "Ashton... Ashton!" I yelled, huddling over him.

He slowly turned his face to meet mine. "Don't cry." he whispered, lifting up a shaking right hand to my face and wiping the tears that were rapidly streaming down.

"Don't go. Stay with me. Stay with me. You can't go. I just got you back. Stay with me, stay with me." I repeated. "Look into my eyes. I'm calling an ambulance. Look at me. Stay with me. Don't fall asleep."

My shaking hands reached for my phone as I dialed the numbers no one ever wishes to dial. Soon the ambulance showed up, taking Ashton and me into the vehicle. They took all kinds of tests on me, and determined I was fine. I ran to the front desk as soon as the let me loose and asked what room Ashton Irwin was staying in. The lady told me and I practically ran down there, needing to see him. Needing to know he was okay. I entered the room and saw Ashton's mom crying in her husband's arms. "Mrs. Irwin? Is everything okay?" this made her cry harder. I looked at Ashton. I ran over, and grabbed his arm, holding my fingers where his pulse would be. I couldn't find it. I tried his neck. I couldn't find it. I started balling.

"It's okay, you're okay, you're not dead, you're alive. Ashton wake up. Ashton. Ashton." I couldn't breathe anymore. The room went blurry. I couldn't see through my tears. "Ashton wake up!" I screamed. A nurse came in and pulled me out of the room.

"You need to go home, sweetie." She said softly.

I don't remember how exactly I got home that day, but I did.

I received a call from the Irwin family one week later. They invited me to his funeral. I went. It was closed casket, but how I wished it was open. I just wanted to see his beautiful face one more time. Just one more smile. One more. That's all I needed. I didn't know how I would make it through. He was my everything. He was... the only person to help me. I loved him and I wanted to tell him. But I couldn't. I couldn't and I hated myself. I hated everyone in the world. One week later I dropped out of college. I went to live with my grandparents again. Until they passed. I had nobody to look after me except for Calum. He took care of me for the next 5 years until he went off and got married. I had to pull myself together, and I did. I got married and had 3 children. But I never loved anyone as much as I loved Ashton Irwin. Never.

A/N: I cried so hard writing this chapter, and if you didn't cry, frankly, I don't know if you're human.
