Lauren has never really been in a relationship. For the past few years, she's been trying hard to avoid any type of relationship or even crush. It's not that she doesn't want to, it's because her mother does not approve. Mother always says, " I don't want you dating anyone till you are out of high school, and when that time comes, it has to be someone within our church."

Fucking great.

Just imagine what her mother would do if she find out Lauren is interested in a girl. ' Disaster." That's what Lauren thinks. These homophobic hooligans will show no mercy. Not even for their daughter. Lauren just decides to keep all these feelings built up to herself. Which is HARD. When she's in the store with her parents and sees a cute girl, her gay arises. In which she tries to not show since she's with her parents but, damn that girl is pretty cute. Maybe she could sneak a few glances here and there. No use. Mother is right there, observing her every move like a hawk watching it's prey, ready to attack when vulnerable. Mother knows best though, so she would ask her why she's acting that way, asking her if it's because of the boy next to the girl with the brown hair. ' Ha nah mom, just the cute girl standing next to him.' Lauren thought. She could never say that.

BUT

but

Lauren has shown signs of course. Hell, she's been obvious. It amuses her that EVERYONE knows, except for her parents. Lauren feels as if they know, but are in denial. They don't want their daughter to be interested in the same sex. It's just sinful.

' I'm sinning but I'm winning.' Lauren thought. She can't help herself. Girls are just so damn irresistiblee and great, how could she not crush on one?

To be honest, Laurens has a crush on 3 girls a say.

But, they're like puppy crushes. Not even that. More like crushes-that'll-go-away-in-a-week-or-so kind of crush. Is attraction a better word? Either way she doesn't really do anything to try to gain the person's interest, knowing it's nothing serious. Nothing that'll make her heart burst and her knees weak. Until she met her.

The Marching Geek.

The following week.

Lauren sitting at lunch with her friends, just chatting away by the latest gossip and such. Nosey little shits.

" So Lauren, I hear you're joining The Marching Virgins." Calum says, earning a laugh from Luke, sitting next to them. " Did you know that Ashton is in it also?"

" Really? What does he play?" Lauren asked.

" He plays the snare... and tenors. Pretty much every percussion instrument. He's pretty talented. " Calum admits. " But he gets fucking annoying when he decides to grab his drumsticks and pretend that everything a fucking snare. He made the damn hood of my car his drum solo."

" He started doing that on my Fish tank. My poor fishes." Luke says.

" Let him be. If you could bring your bass and guitars everywhere you go, you also would play it every chance you get you assholes." Vero says, scrolling through her phone.

" You're only defending him because you're into drummers."

"¿Que? Who told you that?" Vero said.

" Lauren are you playing snare?" Vero asked, smirking.

" No."

" Shoot. Well, what instrument are you playing?"

" Alto Saxophone."

" So you blow?"

" Shut the fuck up Veronica."

" So who's teaching you?" Calum asked.

" This girl named Camila."

Vero spit out her drink and looked at Lauren. " Cabello?!"

" Yeah, I think so?"

" Holy fuck Lauren, sign me the fuck up. I will literally donate my left eyeball in order to get taught by that beauty."

" That means you have to join The Marching Virgins Vero." Calum addressed.

" And your point is? Band Geeks are hot. Like have you seen Camila? I have to take this chance. That musical geek literally spends most of her time in band, it's hard to have an opportunity to talk to her."

" Speaking of the devil." Luke suddenly says.

Camila entered the lunch room and immediately locked eyes with Lauren. Camila smirked and winked at the green eyed girl.

" Oh my fucking god did she wink at me? Gosh. I'm pregnant."

" Vero that wasn't for you." Calum said.

Lauren looked at Camila up and down. Wow, how can someone look so great without even trying? Lauren almost hyperventilates when Camila makes her way towards her.

" What's up Jauregui? You coming to our private lessons tomorrow?" Camila asked her, chuckling a bit.

" Yes."

" Vero, she's not talking to you." Luke says.

Lauren looked at the girl and smiled. " Yeah totally. "

Camila gave her a goofy grin. " Great. See you tomorrow."

And with that Camila walked away.

" Lauren, I think she has eyes for you." Calum said.

" Nah, a girl like her wouldn't look my way." Lauren said.

" Are you blind? Have you seen yourself? I feel like you guys will look great together." Luke said, smiling.

" I agree with Luke. " Calum says. " Win the band geek's heart Laur."
