A/N: The lack of motivation I have is concerning and I should really find inspiration.

As the phone ranged, Camila was rehearsing what she was gonna say. She had to come up with a good excuse on why she's been ignoring Lucy and why she has-
" Hello?"
Camila's breathed hitched and she basically froze.
" Helloo?" said Lucy again.
The girl cleared her throat and continued. " Hi Lucy."
" Camila? You finally decided to talk to me?"
" Lucy I-I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to, I don't even know why I acted that way."
" You're my best friend. I thought you would be there to actually support me and the only thing you did was run away. Like what the hell Camila."
" I support you. Unconditionally. I just...needed time to process."
" Took you a good ass time." Lucy said, voice mixed with hurt and a hint of rage." When I needed you the most, you bailed on me. The girls in class found out and now I'm getting teased for being who I am."
Camila stayed silent, hearing what Lucy had to say.
" I'll make it up to you. I'm never leaving your side again. You can count on me."
Next day at school, Camila now understood why the girls were looking at her with disgust and confusion. They were wondering why Camila was hanging out with a " Baby Dyke" as they say.
Lucy sat at the back of the class, waiting for her friend to come in. As if on cue, Camila walks in with a smile as she sees her best friend. She made her way next to her and gave her a little flower, as if to show her apology.
" Ew Camila, why are you giving her a flower? That's what lesbians do." One girl with the blond hair and blue headband said.
" Yeah Camila, come sit with us. You don't have to sit with the baby dyke." The other girl said, taking the chair out that is next to her.
" No." Camila said.
" What?" Blue headband said with full shock.
" I'm good right here."
Blue headband then snorted. " Camila stop playing. What? Don't tell me you're dating her." Laughed the girl.
" I am."
The girls, plus Lucy both looked at Camila with wide eyes.
" You're what?" The girl next to the blonde asked.
" I am dating Lucia Vives. We're lesbianing together."
Lucy let out a snort while the other girls looked at each other with confusion.
" Never mind you can sit there."
-
" Camila out of all things you could've done, you say we're lesbianing together? I don't know if I should be proud for you to not care of what other say and sticking up for me or disappointed on the way you said it."
" Look, I panicked. We're in lesbian okay? Now hold my hand."
" No."
" God you're the worst pretend girlfriend ever."
Lucy side eyed Camila and then smirked, " Oh really?" She says, her voice smooth and an octave deeper. She inched closer to Camila, in which she tried to back up but her back met the wall. Lucy, gently tugged the collar of Camila's shirt and leaned in ever so slowly.
" Then let me show you how great I'd be as a real girlfriend."
" I uh I-" Camila was a stuttering fool, trying to come up with the right words until she heard Lucy burst into a fit of laughter.
" Oh my fuck, you should've seen your face!" Exclaimed Lucy between her laughs.
" You cunt sucker." Camila said, flipping off her best friend A.K.A her pretend girlfriend.
" Oh thank you."
" Gay."
" You can't make gay jokes if you're not gay Camilaaa."
Well whoops. We all know how much of a gay this little Camila is, and just when she was about to protest she corrected herself in order not to expose any information she didn't want others to know. But then again, the school now thinks she's dating Lucy, her best friend. BUT then again, Lucy still thinks she's straight so that's good enough.
" So what now? How long till this fake dating thing? Do I have to break up with you or how does this work?" Lucy asked, taking a bite of her Granola bar.
" Rude for you to assume YOU had to break up with me."
" Bitch, you're cock blocking every potential candidate."
" Well excuse you."
And then, they were fake dating for almost 2 years. How did they do it? They just acted like they usually do, as best friends. People didn't question it anymore.
It was the end of 8th grade, and Camila was so excited to start high school. A new era. New people, New everything. A fresh new start.
" Camila, this crazy. We're gonna be high schoolers! We're gonna suffer!" Lucy exclaimed.
" Hell yeah! Sleep deprivation!"
" Shut up you loud lesbians." A boy said as he covered his ears from hearing both girl scream.
Camila stuck out her tongue and looked at her best friend smiling excitedly.
" I think we can break up when freshman year starts."
" Sounds cool." Camila shrugged.
" Yeah you can get ya straight rep back. I can't believe we did that for 2 years."
" I knooow. I swear I forgot for a long period of time." Camila admitted.
" Me too! And then some jerk came to us and asked if he can see us kiss. I was like what the hell. But then I remembered. He was gross."
" He really was. But hey! People started getting more comfortable with their sexuality and a lot have come out the last year."
" Yeah, I'm glad I wasn't the only one,"
Camila smiled. " We're stupid."
" Nah you are. You started it. Telling people that we were in lesbian together." Lucy said as she giggled.
Camila laughed and shrugged her shoulders, but then it died down.
" Hey Lucy... Have you told your parents?"
-
A/N: I hope I didn't offend anyone with Lucy's and Camila's idiotic banter. That's how usually my friends and I talk to each other. Gives it a little spice to their friendship.
Ug these childish bitches really faked dated for 2 years and completely forgot that they were. Sounds about right.
