Lee Suji
"Lee Suji and Kang Yuchan," the announcements came on while the two were in class. "please report to the office instantly." It repeated. "Lee Suji and Kang Yuchan, please report to the office instantly."
Suji sighed. She already knew what they would get lectured about. Suji's science teacher, Mrs. Kim eyed her like she had committed a crime in her classroom.
Suji held in her breath. She knew it.
When Suji walked down the stairs, Chan was also on his way. They made eye contact for a few seconds then Chan broke it. Suji felt bad. It was all her fault, but Chan eyed Suji and mouthed, "I'm sorry."
When Suji made her way to the door, Chan waited for her to enter. The younger girl just wanted to grab Chan's hand and run out of this crappy building.
"I thought we made it clear that students weren't allowed to date," the Principal said. Suji couldn't stay still. She was trembling so much, while Chan was still like a paper glued to another piece of paper. "How many times will I have to say this?" The two stayed quiet. "It makes me upset that two students cannot follow this simple rule. Despite, the fact that you two are both on different floors, you two are still greedy kids.
"You two really can't do anything without each other. I said plenty of times to never date or show any interactions in front of, behind of, or inside of my building. If this simple rule cannot be followed, then the two of you will be expelled," Suji gulped. "Do the two of you guys understand?"
They didn't answer. Not even with their heads.
"Do you guys understand?" Principal Jung questioned louder. Still, the two refused to answer. "Do you?" the Principal raised his voice at the two.
"No," Chan answered which made Suji stand shocked. "I don't understand enough. Can you repeat?"
Principal Jung sighed. "Students are not allowed to date or have any interactions in front of, behind of, or inside of my building. If you two continue like this, you'll both be expelled. Understand?"
"Yes." Chan answered with a straight face.
Principal Jung glared at Suji waiting for her answer. "Yes sir."
"Dismissed."
Chan and Suji walked out. The girl couldn't even eye Chan and neither could Chan eye Suji.

After class, Suji couldn't look at or talk to anyone. She was so ashamed of herself and so upset that she fell in love.
"It's a disaster." Suji said to Euna Kim.
"You're exaggerating it," Euna Kim told Suji. "Calm down a bit."
"I can't," Suji ruffled her hair until it became messy. "I'm too attached to him."
"Be like a puzzle," Euna Kim said to Suji. "Connect with each other, but break out with each other."
"So?" Suji tilted her head. She did not understand what Euna Kim meant.
"Connect with each other or in other words, communicate with each other," Euna Kim explained. "even when you guys break out."
Suji smiled a bit. "Thanks for the advice."
"It's the best I can do," Euna Kim said. "Have a little bit of confidence."
"But, I lost confidence ever since The Ark stopped performing," Suji said with a full smile. The atmosphere became quiet after The Ark was mentioned.
The Ark were a street performer group. They coveted legendary songs and people enjoyed watching them. The members of The Ark thought that they would continue, but they stopped meeting up with each other.
Euna Kim couldn't speak. She was loss for words.
"I... I'm sure Minju didn't mean to discontinue The Ark," Euna Kim said. "Remember 'The Light?'"
Suji nodded.
It was the first song they performed on the streets.
"I'm sure Minju will come back and be that somebody." Euna Kim was now referring to the lyrics.
Suji closed her eyes. "I want to see The Ark again."
"We will see it again," Euna Kim assured Suji. "I promise."
"What if The Ark never comes back?" Suji asked. "What will I become?"
"The Ark will come back. I'll tell you that," Euna Kim told Suji. "Minju didn't leave because she didn't want to perform anymore. She left because she graduated. The Ark was a tiny project group. People who watch us were what made The Ark The Ark. Minju is working hard too. She'll bring The Ark back."
"But what if she doesn't?" Suji questioned. "What if she decides to pursue another career? What if she forgets about The Ark? What if she thinks The Ark is not usless?"
Suji was on the verge of tears. She wanted The Ark back. She wanted to feel happiness again.
"Suji, be patient." Euna Kim said in a calming voice.
Suji hid her face with her palms. "Ever since The Ark disbanded, Chan was the one giving me hope and faith."
Euna Kim gave a pitiful look. She felt bad for Suji.

"Hold my hand when you need somebody."
"I'll be that somebody."
"We're in this for life."
"Only look at me when you need a shoulder."
"I'll be that somebody somebody."
"We're in this for life~."
Suji sang quietly under her breath as she laid her head on her desk.
She needed that somebody.
She needed Chan.
