After some time the nurses came running and all the ward boys were moving here and there impatiently making me worried.

We all ran and stopped a nurse

"Kya hua nurse?"

Cabir asked her.

"Patient ki heartbeats decrease ho rahi hai. We will have to use defibulator."

She answered and Ran.

I stood up and saw through the small hole inside the operation theatre.

The doctors were tensed and Nandini was breathing heavily.

The nurse quickly went inside and they used the  defibulator to revive her heart.  

I couldn't see her like that.

You can't go Nandini. You can't.

I went back and sat on the chair thinking about the moments spent with her.

After some time the doctor came out and Venkatesh uncle asked

"How is she doctor? She is okay na?"

I was waiting for him to reply. I couldn't say a word. I felt my vocal chords are not with me...!!

"Tumne sahi kaha tha Manik."

He said and I looked at him confused

"Nandini ne tumhari baat sunli. She is out of danger now."

As he said that everyone became happy.

Thank you nandini. For not leaving me.

I closed my eyes and sat down, this time, relaxed.

"Abhi Nandini ko ap log mil sakte hai. Use hosh aa gaya hai."

He said.

I so wanted to meet her but... that pain of losing her which now was turning into anger stopped me.

"Pehle ap sab mil lijiye.  I met her just some time ago."

I said blankly.

"Only two people at a time."

He said and left.

Shanno aunty and Mom had also come by this time. Navya informed them that nandini is fine.

The last thing I remember is a bright light and then....

When i opened my eyes, i saw myself in the operation theatre.

Everyone is coming to meet me but not the one my eyes are searching for.

I know he must be angry.

Last time truck mujhe hit karne vala tha to use itna gussa aya tha and this time...

I was thinking about him when Cabir and Navya came, after the elders had met me.

"I am sorry Nandu. Kahi na kahi, Meri wajah se tum yaha ho."

Navya said while crying.
