Kim Taehyung // Backstory

Kim Taehyung, born on 30th December 1997 to two loving parents. During the first 8 years of his life was happy, he had a sister two years younger than him, you could even say they were the perfect family, even though they were struggling for money they were filled with the richness of life, this was until his mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer this was due to second hand smoking as she worked in many clubs to give her family the essentials they need.

At 9 years old, his mother died. This caused his father to go into a depressive state, wasting their money on alcohol. One year after their house was filled with empty beer bottles. His cuts and bruises were inflicted by his dad, he always tried to protect his sister from his hits and successfully did so. He dropped out of school and spent most of his day on the street singing and dancing for money to buy food for him, his father and his sister. At such a young age he still loved father, he didn't get why he hits him but he knew there was a reasonable explanation. He kept on preforming on the streets and at night he was dealing drugs and sometimes taking some of the stock to put him in a euphoric state. This was the of his start alcohol and drug abuse.

By the age of 13, one of the JYP scouts spotted him dancing on the streets, his dad accepted the 1.5 million won as a first of pay for him joining JYP. He was asked to live in New Zealand and attend school there, just before he went he asked if his sister could go with him. They agreed as Tae was perfect for their new upcoming teen group. This group never happened and as Tae got his hopes up and was failed by JYP he cancelled his contract with them.

When Tae was 16 years old he met a 14 year old girl called London, by the time she was 15 she already had helped Tae a lot, she had made him feel alive again. By the time she was 16, Tae had asked London be his, but London refused, telling Tae that she promises to be his when she turns 18.

However before this all happened London was scouted by BigHit to join their new girl group CLA, his dream of calling London his didn't come true. London had left and Tae was all alone as all his friends also join BigHit but he was left with his best friend Jimin. As they all attend a prestigious preforming arts university, they had a 50% chance of getting scouted by Korean entertainment industries.

Jimin and Tae produced a duo act at one of the many competitions held in the school, they were both scouted by BigHit and as soon as they were reunited with their old friends, he spotted London and kissed her there and then.

Tae is now the Gucci King and London is the Gucci Queen, their groups have a vast amount of fans. Tae still lives with the memories of being beaten by his dad. His sister chose to stay in New Zealand pursuing a medical course. Tae, also known as V still is washing his pain away with alcohol constantly getting drunk, although he had already promised London he would stop but couldn't as the addiction was too much for him to handle.
