Heat Death.
The phenomenon observed when everything that can react, completes reacting.
When everything that can move from point A to point B, reaches point B.
When all energy is transferred and all reactivity ceases.
When nothing happens anymore, or when everything already happened.
This is what science had called, "Heat Death".
A.K.A The end of the Universe.
Every star had burned out, every pulsar and quasar dead. Every celestial body scattered.
There was no sound, it couldn't travel in space anyway. But now there was none of it.
And there was no light. This made more of a difference. Nothing shined anymore. Nothing looked bright.
Nothing could emanate light. This was what Absolute Darkness could possibly mean. And yet, it was probably not.
All of this was almost exactly as Science predicted, almost exactly accurate. But obviously, one factor was not included in this theory.
The possibility that a vessel still functioned, preserving life, and still powered by over a great fraction of the living universe.
