Chapter 7

Rocky's pov

We just got off the plane and we're in Alabama man this play is awesome.
I've been here once and that was when I met Lauren's parents.

"Mommy" Lauren cried hugging her mom.

"Hey sweetie how was your flight" she asked

"Fine where's daddy"

"In the kitchen" she replied

"Hey daddy?" Lauren said walking in the kitchen.

"Hey baby girl I missed you"

"I missed you to"

"Hello rocky" he said shaking my hand.

"Hello sir" I smiled. "I'm sorry for
your loss"

"Thank you" he frowned.

I have a feeling her dad doesn't like me.

"You can go put you things in you old room" her mom smiled.

"Ok be right back" Lauren replied and took my hand leading me into her room.

We set our stuff down and continued down the hall. She stopped and began crying again.

"This was Luke's room"

"Oh" I frowned

Lauren's pov

I walked into Luke's room and sat on the bed, I grabbed a picture of me, lance, and Luke that was on his nightstand.

"Maybe this all a dream" I said hopeful.

" babe are you ok" rocky asked sitting next to me.

"No" I mumbled

"He's in a better place now" He said

"I know I should probably go and see lance" I said standing up.

"I'll be in here" he smiled.

"K"

"Lance?" I knocked on his door.

"Come in"

"Hey" I smile hugging him.

"Hey Lauren" he smiled back.

"Congratulations on y'all's baby boy! I can't wait to be a aunt" I said.

"Thanks"

"Hey Lauren long time no see" Madison (lances wife) said walking in the room.

"Hey Madison" I smiled

"How's Cali and rocky??" she giggled.

"It's good I'm thinking of moving back to Alabama and Rocky came with me"

"You are going to finish school right" lance said.

"I don't know probably it's only three more years"

"Guys come on dinner is ready" mom called.

We got to the table and sat in this order

Mom on the end
Madison lance
Daddy on the other end
Me rocky

We ate watched a movie and went to bed.
