Chapter 9

Lauren's pov

Well today is it. Today is the day they burry my brother.

I wake up and leave rocky asleep in the bed.

I go into the kitchen to find lance sitting at the bar.

"Good morning" I half smiled.

"Morning sis" he smiled.

"Can you believe that he's gone?" I frowned.

"No I can't my little brother is gone the one I grew up with he was my best friend and now he's just gone forever." He cried.

"I know he was my big brother he was my flipping twin we did everything together and in the blink of an eye it's over" I said.

"No matter what happens I'll always be here for you." Lance smiled.

"Thanks at least I have one brother."

"Yea well she should probably get ready" he said.

"Yea Hannah flew in yesterday and she'll be at te funeral" I said and walked into my room and got ready.

*FUNERAL*

Rocky's pov

It's time for Lauren to give her speech. I hate to see her like this.

"Good morning everyone, I'm Lauren, Luke's little sister. " she began, " Luke was the best person to live. He was there for me when nobody else was. He was more than my big brother he was my best friend, my twin."

"Well that hurt" Hannah whispered beside me. " shut up" I said.

"I was told to tell one of my favorite memories of me, Luke and lance." Lauren continued. "When I was 12, Luke was 13, and lance was 15 we were all outside and I was driving the golf cart and Luke was beside me and lance was in the garage getting something, I wasn't paying attention and I drove right through the garage door and ran over lance. He wasn't hurt but me and Luke stayed up until 3 in the morning rebuilding the garage door." She smiled.

Finally she smiled I've been waiting to see her beautiful smile all week.

The funeral ended and everyone went home.
