Chapter 38

Rocky's pov

Ryder is perfect. He has brown eyes like me and Lauren. His hair is a really dark almost black like Lauren's. He has my nose and chin. He was born at 11:27 pm.

We were at the hospital getting Ready to go home.

"do we have everything" Lauren asked checking her bag.

"Yea I think so" I said.

"ok let's go"

She grabbed the bags and I grabbed the baby carrier

Lauren put him in the car then I got in the front seat. I got in the drivers side and he began going home.

*laurens pov

As rocky was driving I turned around and got a picture of Ryder and posted it on Instagram.

Within seconds the were people commenting 'aww he's so sweet' or '#babylynch stole my heart'

I put my phone down and rocky grabbed my hand as we pulled into the driveway.

He kissed my cheek and then got out and got Ryder while I got the bags.

We opened the door to see both of our family's. There was a banner that said welcome home hanging from the fireplace.

"Hey guys" riker smiled

"I'll take that" ross said and took the bags from me.

"Welcome home" rydel squealed.

"Thanks guys" I laughed.

My parents and mark and stormie were all surrounding Ryder.

"Hey Luke" I said in a baby voice as I picked him up. "Wanna see your baby cousin"

I walked over to Ryder and let Luke 'talk' to him

About two hours later the Lynch's had gone home and my parents, lance, Madison, and Luke got a hotel room but Elizabeth stayed with us.

Rocky was sitting on the couch holding Ryder and Elizabeth was cooking Mac n cheese.

"Can I help" I asked.

"No you need to rest" she smiled.

"I don't wanna" I whined.

"Shut up and go play with your baby" she laughed.

"Ok" I giggled and sat went to sit by rocky.

"He's perfection" rocky laughed and handed him to me.

"Hey baby Ryder" I said in a baby voice.

My phone buzzed and I checked it. It was a Instagram notification

I smiled.

"Eww I think Ryder just pooped" rocky said as he stood up and held his nose

"Eww gosh how can it smell that bad." I asked.

I carried Ryder to the nursery with rocky behind me.

Once we changed him rocky layed him in his crib and began to sing always by r5 to him.

Once he had settled down me and rocky went into the kitchen and ate Mac b cheese with Elizabeth.

"This is so good" rocky moaned.

I laughed.

About 10:00 we were all tired so we went to bed.

"We make cute babies" rocky smiled once we got in bed.

"We do don't we" I laughed.

I kissed rocky then rolled over.

"Love you" he said.

"Love you too"

*2:00am

We woke up to Ryder screaming and crying.

I hopped up and rushed into the nursery

"Hey baby don't cry" I smiled and picked him up and sat in the rocking chair.

Rocky came and sat on the foot rest that went with the chair (I can't think of what it's called) and smiled.

"What" I whispered.

"You're a great mom" he smiled.

"You're a great dad "

Rocky got up and went to get a bottle

I began singing always to him. Who knows maybe that will be his song. Rocky walked back in and joined me singing. I finally got him asleep and decided to let him sleep with us. Rocky carried him to our bed and placed him between us.

About 15 minutes later we fell asleep again
