Hey everyone! Just thought I'd post my interpretations of Bird and Annie. If you want, I can do Aryssi as well, or you could send me pictures of what you think they look like. Also, thank you for all the support! You have no idea how happy it makes me to see that you're enjoying my story.

Annie has magic?

I stared down at both Annie and Jay laying on the dusty ground before me. I glanced around. Aryssi was slumped against a tree, Skylor was bent at weird angles on the hard concrete steps coming down from the temple.

"Kristina!" I shouted. Nobody else here was going to be able to get the hurt people inside. "Kristina!" I shouted again.

I heard footsteps on wooden stairs and soon saw Kristina Carling appear in the doorway. She gasped at the scene in front of her.

"Oh my," she muttered, running over to me. "Annie. Oh no, please tell me she's okay."

"She should be fine, but we need to get everyone inside as quickly as possible." Immediately, Kristina picked Annie up 'bridal style' and took her into the temple. I ran over to Rissy and attempted to pick her up. Unfortunately, carrying someone who is almost half a foot taller than you and has way more muscle mass is not easy. Luckily Kai was mobile enough to stop me before I tried carrying her on the stairs.

I managed to get Jay inside, leaving Kai and Kristina to carry Skylor inside. Lloyd and Zane had made it inside on their own but went to rest almost immediately after. Kai disappeared to watch over Skylor while she recovered.

I sat with Kristina in the living area.

"What did Annie do?" was my first question, followed by "will she be okay?"

"Annie will be alright in a little while. She has a unique gift, which, like your elemental powers, moves down the generations. Unlike your elemental powers, I still have the ability to heal. I can also restore life, however, there is a massive price to pay for doing that. We have the ability to temporarily restrict the powers of people with this gift, but only if they are related by blood. My sister Elice does not have this power, and neither does Val."

"Would Skylor be able to absorb your power?"

"No. This is not an elemental power, to my knowledge, it would not work."

"What would not work?" Lloyd's voice came down the stairs.

"Please do not tell anyone who does not already know," Kristina whispered before responding to Lloyd. "Skylor absorbing the Blekksprut's magic. Since it's not elemental, it wouldn't be compatible with her power." She just answered my next question without me asking it.

"That's unfortunate. We really could've used someone with their powers on our side."

"How are you feeling? I can fix you up, if you'd like." Kristina laughed quietly.

Didn't she just say that she didn't want anyone to know about her power?

"I'm a doctor, don't worry." Can she read minds, too? I shook my head at the ridiculous thought.

"Nothing a little time can't fix. Thank you, though." Was he blushing? He was definitely blushing.

I could not stay in that room much longer while Lloyd was flirting with Kristina. Instead, I went into my bunk room where a makeshift bed had been set up for Annie. She looked so peaceful in her sleep. She was also really cute.

I was distracted by the sound of Aryssi groaning. She was awake!

"Anyone have any Advil? Wow, my head really hurts."
