All I could see were those damn brown eyes, and I was falling for them. I can't be. He's been my best friend for years now, I can't lose that.
He looked at me, biting his lip. Oh God, how could this guy be this attractive? "Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked. He didn't laugh, he didn't even smile, his face was blank. I couldn't read him.
"I-i'm not looking at you like any way." I faced away, blushing. I looked at his guitar. I was in his room. It was a nice cozy room, with everything he loves in it. Mostly music related, but in that way we are the same. We both dig music.
"You were looking at me...I've never seen you look at me like that before." He put his hand closer to mine. It was probably not intentional.
"I don't know what you mean." I said in almost a whisper.
"Never mind then." He started strumming on his guitar. I closed my eyes and listened to the mellow sound. He was very talented. I heard him chuckle.
"What?" I asked him, opening my eyes again.
"Nothing." He smiled and continued on his guitar. I closed my eyes once again and drifted to another world.
"Guys!" Paul brust into the room, ruining my relaxation.
"Hey! I was trying to relax!" I laughed. I laid back on the bed, accidently hitting Georgie on the way down. "Sorry."
"It's alright." He chuckled. "And yeah Paul, she was relaxing." He laughed.
"You two should really just kiss already. It's taking you too long." We both started to blush. I felt George adjust the way he was sitting, but other than that, awkward silence.
Paul burst into fits of laughter. "It's so obvious."
"What?" I asked the strange boy.
"You two are meant to be." He pushed George over, so we laying right next to eachother. I looked over at him. He was so cute.
"Yeah whatever." George sat up. "Do you want a buiscut?" He asked the two of us. I nodded vigorously. I guess that's another thing we have in common, our love for food. "Paul?" Paul nodded too, then George left his room.
"He likes you, and you like him." Paul said.
"What makes you think that?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Fucking hell." He sighed. "So much." George came back in the room with some food. He handed Paul and I a biscuit.
"So, the school dance is coming up soon." George said with a mouthful of delicious treat.
"Yeah..." Paul said. George sat back down by me.
"Are yeh gonna ask anyone?" He asked.
"I quite fancy this bird...she's very cute." Paul blushed.
"Who?" I pushed.
"You'll see." Paul smiled. "That is if she wants to go with me."
"Don't doubt yourself Paul. All I hear from girls is 'Paul's so cute.' Or 'I hope Paul askes me out'. It honestly gets annoying." I laughed.
"R-really?" Paul coughed.
"Look what you've done y/n! You made him choke!" George chuckled.
"I'm doing the world a favor." I shrugged and George started to laugh.
"Hey!" Paul yelled. I just shrugged again. "Anyways, who are you two going with. You better say eachother."
"Actually, I've got a date." George said. My heart dropped when he said that. I felt my face drain of color and I suddenly lost my appetite. I actually thought for a second he liked me, I was very wrong.
"Who is she?" Paul seemed shocked too.
"Marissa." He said.
"Oh. She's nice." I smiled. She was a nice girl. She seemed a lot like George. Quiet and reserved, but super kind and caring. She's very smart like him too. But I feel a hatred for her now. I hate jealousy.
"Yeh." George nodded. "Do you have a date y/n?"
"No." I said shyly. "No one likes me."
"You and Paul should go together." George said.
"No. He has his eye on a girl." I said quickly.
"Don't you fancy anyone?" George continued. I felt like crying. I felt like confessing right then and there, but that wouldn't be fair to him.
"Well, yeah but he already has a date." I laughed, trying to lighten up the mood.
"I'm sorry y/n." I felt George's arm around me, pulling me into a side hug.
"It's alright. You know what they say, there are plenty of fish in the sea." But there is only one that's right for me, and it's you George Harrison. I wish I could tell him that.
"Yeah and any guy would be so lucky to go with you." He smiled. I know he's trying to cheer me up, but he should go with me. God, I'm being too selfish.
"Thanks George." He let go of me and continued chewing on his tasty treat.
"You two better come to the dance even if you don't have dates." George said.
"I will." I responded.
"Me too." Paul grinned.
