Chapter 19

They pulled away from the hug after a few seconds and instantly flashed smiles to each other. Well, they've been waiting for this moment, the moment when they can finally interact in person again.

"Are you tired? You've been busy lately." Mina asked worriedly which made Jimin's heart to skip a beat.

"I am not. I'm totally fine." Jimin sarcastically replied. Mina pouted while puffing her cheeks, making her look really adorable and also giving Jimin the urge to pinch those puffy pink cheeks of hers.

"By the way Minari, when is your next comeback?" He asked.

"Oh... it'll be in May I think, but I hope not, I'm still tired with the promotions and all, you know." She replied and sat down on the floor with her legs crossed. Jimin then sat down on the floor and crossed his legs as well, facing Mina.

"Ahh okay. Mina?" Jimin called her and she hummed in response.

"Do you know that when we were still rookies, we want to have a comeback as soon as possible so that we could promote our group more? But since our company  doesn't have enough expenses for the preparations before, that's why we couldn't. It's so hard for us back then." After Jimin told her his little story, her heart instantly softened and her mind changed all of a sudden - instead of being mad for an early comeback, she should be grateful so that her group will be recognized even more.

"Low-key advising me to be grateful for this?" She asked while smiling at him. Jimin chuckled and messed her hair.

"Yep." He simply replied and held both of her hands. She blushed at his actions and looked down at her lap as soon as she felt the soothing sensation rushing through her body.

"Th-thanks. Ahh a-anyways, I'm gonna tell you about the project now." She stuttered and cleared her throat before looking up at the gorgeous man who's facing her.

"Spill it then." He commanded and gestured her to explain everything about the project to him.

She started explaining him from the start until the end, like explaining every detail she knows. Jimin on the other hand was just nodding his head simultaneously, while looking straight at her beautiful, twinkling eyes.

"Well shit, I'm still tired." He replied and slouched his back.

"Yah! Your language." She scolded him but being the stubborn Jimin he sometimes is, well, you know what's gonna be his reply.

"Bullshit." He raised his voice and quickly stood up, running away from the annoyed Mina.

"I'll tell Bang PD-nim that I'll reject the collab performance. Good bye Jimin." With what she said, she stood up and started walking towards the exit. Jimin panicked a little bit and started running behind her back.

Within seconds, his arms encircled Mina's waist - engulfing her into a please-don't-go hug. Not this action again. She thought as soon as she felt the sensation again. She heaved a sigh in shaking exhalation due to how weird she is feeling right now - her mind's mixing, her heart's fluttering, and some kind of an unknown electricity running through her veins making her tremble a little bit.

"O-oh what are y-you doing?" Feeling stupid for stuttering again, she just let Jimin continue hugging her, not even caring if the soothing sensation continues to twitch her muscles.

"Oh c'mon, don't leave me, I was just playing around." He replied in a sad tone, clearly regretting for joking around with Mina.

"Okay okay, just l-let go of... me, first." She mentally scolded herself for stuttering too much. Well, it's Jimin's fault anyway. She felt his arms loosening, already letting go of her.
