Against The Ban | JiMina

Chapter 16

"Bangtan Sonyeondan Park Jimin." Mina's jaw dropped after hearing his name, her eyes staring at a blank space, wondering what to do.

What? Jimin? Like Jimin the ChimChim one? Jimin the squishy face? Jimin the shorty? Jimin the amazing dancer? Jimin the angelic vocals? Jimin that has the 6 pack abs? Jimin pink hair? Is this real?! I'm going to have a collaboration with him? Am I dreaming? Mina, please wake up, c'mon, wake up already! Or... this could be a dream come true! Omg is this really serious?

"I hope you agree with this." JYP added, snapping her back from her thoughts. She blinked rapidly, trying to make sure she isn't daydreaming.

"Uh-uhmm o-of course, he's my sunbae after all so it would be a great honor to work with him." Mina stuttered and smiled shyly.

"BTS is currently doing their world tour and is very busy. So they decided to make you guys practice for the collaboration as early as possible so it won't bother his hectic schedule." JYP replied and took a sip at his tea again. She nodded in understanding and clasped her hands on her lap before looking up at JYP.

"JYP-nim, when will we start practicing?" She asked.

"About that, probably tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. So I guess that's enough information for now. You may dismiss, Mina." JYP replied.

"Thank you JYP-nim." She stood up from her seat and turned around. She was about to grab the door knob when JYP called her name, making her turn around.

"Mina, by the way, remember you still have your dating ban, hmm? I'm not against any relationship since that is your privacy but if someone caught you dating, you know you need to breakup with the guy. So please, know your limit. Okay?" JYP warned which made her bit her lower lip.

Of course Mina still knows her limits. Although she wants to hangout with Jimin more, unfortunately, she really can't. She's focusing on her career, she's striving hard with her group to reach to the top and she won't let something bring them down. It really breaks her heart seeing the reality that idols can't even have their own private life, some people won't stop trying to destroy their images!

Then there's another side of her which keeps on reminding her that she should follow what her heart wants. She likes Jimin-- scratch that, she loves Jimin, she really does but she doesn't know if what she feels is actually the right thing, it may cause trouble. She really can't do anything, can she? She really can't do anything other than hoping, oh yes, she's still hoping everything's gonna be alright soon. (Influenced by Hobi, I see.)

"Y-yes, I will not fail you JYP-nim. Good bye JYP-nim." Mina replied and bowed before she went out of the room.

Well despite the bothering thoughts she is currently handling with, she's still happy especially now. Knowing that she'll be having a collaboration with the one she admires the most already makes her feel giddy, she's gonna faint and fall into the depths of Jimin's charms for sure. Just like what the phrase says "Once JimIN, you can't JimOUT," now that makes sense.

She went out of the building with a happy vibe around her - smiling, blushing cheeks, sauntering joyfully, that pretty much describes how happy she is with the news. She went over her manager's car and stepped in the passenger's side.

"Told you." Her manager spoke and chuckled. Her eyes widened and hotness creeped on her cheeks as she realized... her manager unnie knows?!

"W-what-- how did you know unnie?" Mina stuttered.

"Because you said it on Music Bank before. And also, the members told me you were hanging out with him last month." Her manager replied.
