Chapter 28

Twice is practicing their performance for the upcoming Mnet Asian Music Awards 2017. The award show will be aired 2 days from now and the pressure starts building around them, making them practice even more although they have already perfected it many times.

With only their footsteps clicking against the floor, their rapid breathing as they let the choreography's steps go with the flow of the music, and the music playing through the loud speaker, another sound came in, causing them to stop what they're doing and their eyes instantly gazed at the door.

"Come in!" Jihyo forcefully exclaimed despite panting hard. Just then, the dance studio's door slowly creaked open, revealing a blonde guy with a casual clothing and his cap on.

"Annyeong Jimin sunb--oppa!" Half of the girls exclaimed, with both shock and happy feelings mixed, creating bright and pleasing expressions.

"Oh annyeong. I'm sorry for disturbing your practice." Jimin replied, a sheepish smile displayed on his face after he uttered those words. Jeongyeong rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow. "You should be, bastard." Jeongyeon replied.

"Really? You still dislike me for no reason?" Jimin asked and shook his head in disbelief, causing everyone in the room to burst into fits of laughter.

He raised his chin as he started finding the certain girl he needs to meet. Shifting his sight from left to right, he finally spotted her behind Momo. Her tight-lipped smile and her gaze which contained happiness and love both turned into a whole awkward expression once she met his eyes. Momo seemed to notice and decided to step aside, revealing Mina, whose head's slightly down while still fixing her eyes on him.

"May I ask what are you doing here, oppa?" Chaeyoung asked which made Jimin to look at her. He stole a quick and unnoticeable glance at Mina before turning his eyes back at Chaeyoung.

"We'll be practicing for a little bit of our dance performance. So... may I steal her once you guys are done practicing?" He replied and smiled warmly, hoping the girls to agree. The girls nodded in understanding, realizing they have their dance collab too. "Sure. She's your girl, anyway." Nayeon teased.

"O-oh, c'mon, stop joking around Nayeon, or else I'll steal Kookie away from you." He jokingly threatened Nayeon. Just when Nayeon was about to reply, Tzuyu spoke up first. "You don't need to, oppa. Jungkook oppa said himself that he's mine." Tzuyu's obvious joke hit Nayeon like a bomb, causing the bunny girl to secretly glare at the maknae.

Sana cleared her throat which made everyone to turn their attention to her. "I mean, at least everybody knows Jungkookie and I are sweet on camera. So who knows we could have the chance to be more close off camera and be like close frie-- I mean, more than friends?" Another obvious joke which Nayeon took seriously.

"Pfft." Nayeon rolled her eyes in annoyance, causing everyone to burst into silent giggles.

"Oh, Jimin oppa, actually. We've done enough practice, you can take her with you now." Dahyun spoke up causing Jimin to widen his eyes.

"Yeah, we've done enough. Let's go to the dance studio now?" Mina abruptly asked. Jimin looked at her and smiled, quickly melting her heart.

"Okay then. I'm taking her with me now girls, it's fine, right?" He asked the girls, trying to gain their absolute approval. "Yeah, it's fine. Enjoy!" Nayeon replied and smiled.

Just then, Mina went over him and stood up beside him. "Let's go now?" She whispered. He held her hand and squeezed it before flashing a smile at her. "Okay." He whispered back and turned his eyes back to the other girls. "Thank you girls. We'll go now." He bowed and gently dragged her with him towards the exit.

Mina's head turned to the side to be able to see the girls once more. Her eyes met their faces only to see those expressions were absolute teasing ones. She glared at them before stepping out of the dance studio with him.

"What do you wanna eat this lunch?" Jimin abruptly asked while driving his car towards BigHit's building.

Mina looked at him and felt relief inside her, knowing that he totally broke the awkward silence along the ride. She involuntarily hummed before replying. "Uhm what about let's just order egg toast, kinda craving for it." She replied.

"Okay, egg toast it is. Don't worry, I got the ketchup ready in the studio." He replied jokingly which made her chuckle.

"Nooo~ don't do that yet, we ain't reaching that part yet. I think you should raise your right hand first before spinning your body." Jimin instructed her as they kept on recalling their steps on the choreo.

It's not that hard but sometimes, they would struggle cause they forgot about the current steps since they've last practiced it for quite long already. They started practicing at 2 in the afternoon - an hour after they finished eating their lunch.

"Yeah, that one, good job. Now we'll do the ending," he started, "do you still remember that?" He asked.

"Th-the ending?" She stuttered as soon as she remembered how the choreo they made should end.

It was literally like Jimin would lift her leg from the ground by pulling her thigh upwards and would lean his head to her lips as she will bend her body away from him - and that would be their last posture for the performance.

"Yes... I do remember it." She muttered, internally fangirling over the ending. Omg I hope both of our fans will be okay with this performance. She thought.

"Well, let's do it then!" He exclaimed enthusiastically, automatically giving her confidence and energy, causing all the anxiety inside her to be swept away in just a matter of seconds.

They positioned themselves for the last part, counting "1, 2, 3" before taking the initiative to move for the first step. They started moving on their own as their minds are already set and ready for every upcoming moves they have to do. Ending the performance with how it should be, they slowly pulled away from the skin contact and laid down on the floor.

"That was intense. I hope we won't faint on stage." Mina said. Her hand on top of her flat stomach as it keeps going up and down in motion since she's breathing heavily.

"That was... hot. We look cool, we should practice one more time after 5 minutes." Jimin suggested. She wasn't sure if she heard the right thing but when the word "hot" slipped into her eardrums, she felt chills all over her body. Aish why am I having a dirty thought right now? She thought.

"About the ending of the performance..." he started then she moved her head to the side to be able to see him. "What about that?" She asked, causing him to smirk and let out a chuckle. "Sorry if I triggered your hormones." He replied and moved his head to the side, meeting her eyes that are wide open before sending a flirtatious wink.

She immediately stood up and crossed her arms with a shock expression displayed on her face. "You flirt!" She exclaimed. She was about to go away when he grabbed both of her legs and pulled her down, causing her to land on him - with both of her hands on his chest, her flat stomach against his abs, and her face just an inch away from his.

"Sup Minari." He smirked which sent chills all over her skin as she got to smell his mouth's minty breath.
